When the blonde opened the door, Alice got worried. She had lost, at least, two, maybe three pounds and had a frowned face.
“Dear…”
Tina embraced her friend and finally tears won the battle.
“Oh, sweetheart…” Alice’s heart got small inside her chest.
“I…I miss her, Al…”

When the tears diminished, when the sobs stopped, Alice asked her friend what happened.
And the executive told her how, in the middle of the darkness, this brunette, Elizabette, was capable of found her out. And how she made Tina felt intoxicated and how she leaved, telling her Destiny and Fate would brought them together.
But, more. Tina told how she felt sick since she didn’t have that woman to taste everyday.

“You have to go and find her, Bette!”
“I can’t, Al…”
“Bette…what a fuck did you do with my friend?”
“Al… I would never hurt her, …I love her…”
“Your love poisoned her, Bette…”
“Please, don’t tell me that… Don’t say it this way…”
“But, it is, Bette! She’s fragile, sad… lost. She’s suffering, Bette…She’s in so much pain…”
“Is she in pain?” Bette’s voice was almost inaudible.
“She’s…she’s desperate to see you again, Bette!”
“I can’t, Al…”
“God! How can you be so cold?!”
The answered came wetted in tears.
“I am not, Alice… you would never know what costs me this distance…I just have to do the things right to have a chance. She lives with Meltic…And Meltic could be dangerous.”
“Wait a second…WOA… Meltic would never ever hurt, Tina…”
“Maybe not Tina… And you don’t really know that…”
“Oh… and you know…” Alice was incredulous.
Bette’s eyes told Alice she knew.
It was, again, too much, to Alice’s reasonable mind.
“Fuck, Bette! What… What, Bette…What do you possibly know, that I don’t, Tina’s best friend since childhood! What can you conjecture about her or about Meltic, her formal perfect lover that I don’t know?
“See, Al…This is the point. That’s what I am talking about! I will tell Tina, Alice, that she’s my soul mate, that we had lived as lovers many times before, but that something got terribly wrong the last reincarnation and I gained far more than this scars…” she showed Alice her chest, “I lose her…and someway she forgot about me…” The brunette stopped to capture air. “And you…You doubt from me, from the unreasonable facts I present you. What Tina would do, Al?! What would be her reaction?” Bette silenced for seconds. The tears ran free from her face, but her voice was made by stone.

Finally they met for the 2nd time! :) But where’s Meltic? Did he and Tina split?
Oh Braz, I loved the ending…..and we all know that the animals/pets know when people are mean,good,happy sad and all the emotions we carry upon us. Sally knew that Meltic was a bad spirit in that body of his. How many days before Meltic comes back?
NO LET MELTIC DISSAPPEAR OR SOMETHING…bring the lovers 2gether.
OMG! Sally is Bette’s former dog isn’t she? The one that bit Meltic after he shot the arrow that eventually killed Bette!!! Am I right? No wonder the dog hates him and pees all over his worthless belongings. Go Sally Go — and I mean that literally! Braz, I just don’t know how I grow to love this story more with each and every chapter. Yes, I do – it’s your fantastic story telling ability. Thank you for posting again so soon but I have to say, this chapter didn’t meet my need for sufficient Bette and Tina interaction – now I simply must have more!!! And soon please!!! I’m with Rau – let Meltic’s plane crash… and please give our lover’s another chance to ummmm….connect!

Hi, Braz! *waving* Thanks for your kind words! We miss you, too! As for the story, you are keeping the right pace, sweetie. You have to unveil all those special details that have been part of their bond in former lives. That is the only way to make Tina comprehend the trascendental role that Bette has been as her soulmate. As for Meltic, hope he stays away for a while, to give time for Bette to solidify their union and find out what is the stone that was placed to avoid their union and that needs to be removed, so they may come back to each other. This story is amazing, Braz. Our fav, as you so know. Keep telling us how everything fits in this lifetime. How fate and and destiny play an important role.
