Alisha took one step backwards and gave Bette the once over. Her eyes met Tina’s and she mouthed the words ‘holy crap’.
“Come again?” Bette said and turned her face to look at Alisha.
“Oh… nothing… it’s just that you two… my god… you’re hot together…” Alisha mumbled, as blood shot to her face.
“I know I have a very stunning girlfriend. Thank you,” Bette said courteously.
Tina beamed with pride as Bette pulled her back in and placed a soft kiss on her lips.
“Are you ready to go…?” Bette asked, thoroughly enjoying the look on Tina’s face.
“Yes… let me just get my things…”
“I’ll let you go then…” Bette smiled and released Tina.
Bette laughed all the way to car. “T…. so that’s why you wanted me to pick you up…”
“… I know…” Tina squirmed.
“You wanted to show me off…” Bette continued.
“…. I know….” Tina admitted.
“… It’s been a while since that happened… Showing… off… your lady…” Bette sang.
“… I know….” Tina whispered.
“Are you going shy on me now…” Bette giggled, feeling like she was walking on air.
“No! But if you continue this conceited behavior I might be a little embarrassed on your behalf…” Tina scolded, trying to hide her smile.
“Are you upset?… I though it was fun…” Bette smiled.
“No… I’m not upset…”
“Wasn’t it good for you, baby…?” Bette chuckled and grabbed Tina by the waist. Tina shook her head at Bette, who looked back at her with elation in her beautiful eyes. Tina couldn’t help laughing with Bette.
“It’s always incredible with you, honey…. you did very well… Thank you,” Tina smiled and put her hand against Bette cheek.
“Good… I’m glad I could be of service…” Bette smiled and kissed the palm of Tina’s hand.
“I’m so lucky to have you…” Tina whispered, leaning in to give Bette a lingering kiss.
“On that note…. let’s go get us some rings…” Bette smiled against Tina’s lips.
“Mmmm… let’s do that…”
Janice was the artist who had designed Bette and Tina’s old wedding rings. She had been an upcoming artist back when they first met her, but since then she had become an established jeweler. Bette and Tina talked to her about their wishes and Janice sketched her ideas for them. Together they settled on two ring, slightly different but still with the same basic pattern. They furthermore picked out their wedding bands so Janice could create engagement rings that would compliment the rings they would exchange on their wedding day. Since Janice was creating the rings especially for them, it would take some time before they could pick them up. But Janice had promised the rings would be finished before Christmas.

Thanks Anker…I have this shyt awful housework to do!!!! I have let it accumulate…like clothes over four rooms etc. TIME TO CLEAN UP!!!…but I saw your story and I’m such a sucker for your B & T that I just had to read…awesome as always, so much detail, and the birthday cliffie (lol)…in an anticipation of your next post I will now go off to do albeit reluctantly the housework, hoping that when I’m finished you MAY have posted the 2nd half of the birthday girl’s present….gotta love James…as for alphabette…ouch!!! she’s a teaser!!!

I love your Bette and Tina. They have worked out a lot of their problems and seem to continue to talk through them. Tina is sneaky and fun. First she has Bette meet her at work to shut up her co-workers and now this surprise to Bette’s office. Looking forward to more B&T soon.

Hey anker, this was a very nice Saturday surprise post. I love how you write B&T together and I am sure in the next chapter things are going to heat up at the office. LOL!! Hey, Anker! As always, your post brightened up the day! Love it when Alphabette comes out to play…love it even more when Tina tweaks her carefully thought out plans. What do you think? Can Bette totally embrace the journey off the well thought out path or does she stress (even a little) that Tina has changed -even in a good way- the ideas she mapped out as Tina’s perfect birthday? Anker… do you *really* want to hear me sing? I don’t think you know what you’re letting yourself in for… Do you have enough medical insurance to repair the damage to your ears? Are you ready to go through extensive therapy to recover from the mental anguish of my off-key warbling? Heed my warnings: it won’t be pretty. I don’t know if the cuteness from the puppies and kittens would be enough to counteract the damage of me mangling show tunes… And the nightmares, you ready for those too? Okay, I’m maybe not that bad. Wait, that’s a blatant lie: I am. Besides, I live at sea level… even going up a slight hill makes my ears pop, so if I get up towards the mountains to imitate the von Trapps, my head would likely explode. So, you’re likely safe from me and my singing… or are you? Dare to mention that word again, and you may find out… ;) Right, on to the chapter: T showing off Bette at the Center was too cute, yet, still hot. Heck, if I were Tina, I’d take out full-page ads in newspapers and hire billboards to show Bette off, complete with a hotline number for the jealous onlookers: 1-800-U-ENVY-ME. I can’t wait to see what T has in store for Bette… she has a whole 70 minutes (I’m allowing 5 minutes to correct things in case either– or hopefully both of them– are en déshabillé… yes, that’s a hint, anker) to pay Bette back for leaving her in that state, on her birthday, no less! anker, awesome as usual. Tina wanting to show Bette off (while totally understandable!) WAS SO CUTE. Bette wouldn’t have made it out the door that morning… grrrrr… even WITH surprises later. :) James is about the best assitant ever… I need to get one of those… LOL
