They found each other’s most sensitive places, communicating without words. With the knowledge only a love that stretches over long time can provide they took each other higher, towards a shared exploration of the ultimate of pleasure.
Their bodies were still sizzling in the aftermath. They were lying so close, none of them able to move. Bette tightened her grip around Tina a little more. Her entire body was covered in Tina in one way or another. It felt heavenly. But at the same time Bette was getting conscious enough to start wondering why Tina had needed that kind of lovemaking at this moment. Bette noticed how Tina’s exhausted breathing pattern slowed down to sleeping mode. Tina’s fingers, which had been playing at the back of Bette’s neck, stilled.
After ten minutes wrapped in the arms of the sleeping Tina, Bette disentangled herself and went to the bathroom. After a good long shower she returned to the bed dressed in her robe. She picked up the mail from the floor and got back into bed next to Tina. Bette put on her glasses and opened the large envelope from their lawyer’s office.
“Are you working…?” Tina asked after another twenty minutes.
Bette turned her face and smiled down at Tina. “No…. This is not work…”
Tina smiled her elated smile up at Bette. “Thank you…” she whispered.
“It’s Saturday T… I don’t want to work…” Bette answered to a question that wasn’t asked.
“I wasn’t thanking you for not working…. I was thanking you for before… for loving me the way you do…”
Bette took off her glasses and put the papers down on the bed beside her. She scooted down to lie next to Tina.
“You don’t have to thank me for either of those things… it’s my pleasure….” Bette smiled.
“That’s good to know…” Tina giggled.
Bette leant in and gave Tina a soft kiss. Several kisses were shared before Tina pulled back for air.
“So what was it?” Tina asked, chuckling softly at the look of pure bliss on Bette’s face.
“What was what?” Bette asked groggy from the kissing.
“Those papers you were going through…”
“Oh, it was the papers from the lawyer… rearranging our assets, making sure that we have equal ownership…”
“So does it look good….?”
“Yeah, it looks like everything is in order… we just need to sign the papers… And you should look over them of course….” Bette said. A faint look of hurt went over her face.
“Hey! What’s wrong babe…?” Tina asked.
“Nothing….”
“Bette… what?” Tina pushed further.
“It’s just…. do you think I was trying to cheat you out of something…. to keep you submissive… you know, back then…?” Bette asked at the thought of how they had never bothered to get Tina’s name on any of their shared expenses and assets.
“No, Bette… I never thought that… But I think we were being very naïve thinking that that sort of thing doesn’t matter. It does matter…. I felt so small… so insignificant when I found out that I didn’t have any rights to anything when we split up. I had to depend on your good graces. It shouldn’t have been like that…”
“No, it shouldn’t…. but Tina I never withheld anything from you…”
“I know you didn’t…. but it shouldn’t have been about you giving me something… half of everything was mine to begin with….” Tina said, getting slightly agitated.

That was very adorable. I love when they are loving.. I can’t wait for some baby making. Maybe on their trip? That would be very romantic. Glad they talked through the past.. its really important. So glad your characters learn from their mistakes. IC, are you listening? PPS.
This was incredibly warm, saucy, loving, and all I can tell you is welcome back!! It’s good to take a break sometimes for sure, but never stay away for too long. This is a great story that hits a homerun in terms of tender, loving moments between two loving women. Thanks Anker!
I thought I was seeing things when I first saw that our wayward anker had posted. LOL!! But of course another great and romantic chapter. Loved the B&T togetherness. Still waiting somewhat patiently to hear from a certain friend. Just a little tidbit about whats up to tide you over….I am going to my first pride celebration tomorrow with a group of women that I have met over the last month. Will give you more details in my next email. Just wanted to let you know I am doing alot better. Oh and please try to post the next chapter…which I assume should be a NC-17 “wink” “wink”….a little sooner than you did this one. LOL!!
Good to see you post, Anker. I always go back and read the previous post before I read the new one. What a difference in tone! The last one was so much more deep and questioning while this one B & T seem so secure in their love for each other. Loved the scene after Tina’s workout. Could really visulaize that happening. Also had to laugh when T said, “No shit, Bette!” Bette is sometimes so clueless about how much Tina really “gets it!” I’d like to see them in a few more back together readjustment scenes, but it looks like we’re moving right to insemination. I always smile when I see a post from you whether they’re weeks or days(?) apart! Looking foorard to more…..thanks for writing!
Hey there, I’ll go back to read in a minute but yeah I did intend a PM, something about something seriously work related e.g. social work in Denmark but it just escapes me for the moment; it will come back. I’m on 1st day of holidays so just laxing out catching up with reading then might write a little something….just had to say all that b4 I forget cuz once I get into the story all else disappears…aren’t u just great???!!! lol… brb

That was probably one of the best 5 hour spans ever. And it wasn’t long-winded, if anything, it was nearly too short (for me that is, cos I missed the story. A *lot*. Stop disappearing on me!)! This chapter was just so… well, *nice*. I’m sure there’s a better word, but I can’t think of one right now. The vulnerability, the decision about the donor… Cuteness and sensuality abound with these two and it’s such a delightfully heady mix. It’s gotten me feeling all warm and fuzzy and a bit blissed out. You could bottle this and sell it, it’s way better than champagne. Thank you for posting (don’t stay away so long next time, or else I might have to resort to desperate action… hopefully, we’ll never have to find out what that is ;) ), I loved the chapter (I’m still blissed), and post soon, anker. I love their playfulness and their seriousness also. They are growing closer and trusting theirselves and each other. They would make wonderful mothers and I hope that Charlie and Jeremy ment what they said.
