Kit:  I think I’m going to have to see those movies again. It has been awhile.

Sonny:  Let’s wait until we have a rainy day where we can do nothing else.

Tina:  Sounds like a plan to me.

The group was finishing up breakfast and were beginning to clean things up. Tina asked that all leftover food be put into plastic bags and put into the freezer. She hoped that there would be several options for the coming week in the freezer which would save them time and effort. But that was a later project. She was also wanting to leave some ready-made meals for Bette and Daniel while she and Angie were in New York.  Bette could cook, but she would be in a time crunch as well. In New York, there were restaurants within walking distance which would be far more convenient than shopping and cooking every meal. They would be there only days and time would be the factor rather than the economics.

The garbage was hauled to the garbage container and Tina was ready to begin the process. She first directed Angie and Holly to get all the hamburger buns and the hot dog buns from the pantry and to take them out of the plastic bags and stack in chafing dishes as efficiently as possible to use as little space as possible. They were to dispose of the plastic bags and then wrap the chafing dishes in plastic wrap to keep the bread fresh. Once complete put them in the pantry for storage until this afternoon. After that get 10 bottles of ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise and 5 bottles of pickle relish.  Remove the seals and make sure they are ready to use. Put a chafing dish in the fridge and put the bottles in that chafing dish to be ready to take out this afternoon. After you have finished that, let me know.

Dylan, I am going to ask you to cut the tomatoes. Use the meat cutting machine if you would. Cut about 75 tomatoes. Throw away the ends and those slices which have bad places. Stack on end about 4 columns the tomatoes. Once you are through, wrap and place in the refrigerator.  Then cut the onions. Cut about 20 onions.  Thin slices for tomatoes and for onions too. Find a small chafing dish for the onions. Try to get the tomatoes in one large dish and the onions in one small dish. Then clean the machine, reassemble it, make sure its tight and test it. Be careful and no accidents. Lynn, why don’t you help Dylan. You need to wash the tomatoes and remove any vine still on the tomatoes. You need to peel the onion and get to a good layer. Use glasses when you are cutting the onions. That will keep your eyes dry.
