    Author Notes:

    It is a new day for Bette and a surprise ending.

    Bette said “I am just ready for the next thing”.

    Bette reached for Tina’s hand and clasped it and then intertwined her fingers.  Tina gave her hand a squeeze before she got up out of the bed and trodded off to the bathroom. She came out a few minutes later with her hair fixed up in a ponytail and dressed in casual and comfortable outfit.

    Tina said “Babe, I am going to go out to the nurse’s station and try to get some information about how this is going to work today. I will be right back”.

    After about ten minutes Tina came back into the room with a big grin and said “I have good news for you Bette”.

    Bette said “Tell me”.

    Tina walked right up to the side of the bed and picked up Bette’s hand and said “Well, the nurses said that they will come in about an hour and wheel you down to an operating room and they will give you some local anesthesia and pain killers through your IV line and take the pins out and then they will deliver you back to me here in the room”.

    Bette look wide eyed and said “You won’t be with me T?”

    Tina said “No Bette I can’t go in the OR with you, but I will be here when you get back. The nurses told me that that you will be in the OR for three hours including recovery. I am going to run over to the hotel and switch out some stuff, take a nice long shower and then be back here and refreshed and ready for you my love”.

    Bette said “Will you stay here until they take me down T?”

    Tina said “Yes, Bette. Of course I will. Honey are you scared?”

    Bette said in a quiet voice “Maybe a little…Is that pathetic?”

    Tina stoked Bette’s face and said “No honey, you have been through a lot. I will be with you until you leave and right here waiting for you when you get back to take care of you”.

    Bette had a look of worry on her face. Her big brown eyes seemed troubled. Tina tried to carress and stroke her to ease her worry and try to get her to relax while they waited for the doctor to come in. They sat together in silence and occasionally Bette would make eye contact with Tina and she would smile at her.

Tina needs to kick her A**, NOW while there are medical people around to bandage Jodi up. Hopefully, Bette won’t wake up and get freaked out. Please, please, please post soon.

    14. Oh no is Jodie back..thats not good for Bettes recovery…Bettes needs to be at least back at 90% to deal with Jodie. Please don’t wait so long to post..good update.
