    It is a new day for Bette and a surprise ending.

    The couple slept through the night, but for Tina it was a restless night. Tina was trying to understand Bette’s position and sort through all that had happened to them in such a short period of time. In the end, Tina determined that it was a lot easier for her to handle all that had happened simply because she had good health on her side. Poor Bette, she thought. She has been through so much. And years of experience had taught Tina that Bette is a complete control freak. She has been trying to dilute that aspect of herself, but in many ways it still showed through. Tina decided that a diluted version of a control freak was actually endearing. She knew Bette was really trying.  As Tina was processing all these thoughts in her head, Bette started to stir into a state of semi-wakefulness.

    Bette looked up at Tina and could see that Tina was deep in thought and looked tormented.

    Bette looked over and grazed her hand across Tina’s cheek and said “Hey”.

    Tina said “Hey back”.

    Bette looked concerned and said “Baby, what are you thinking? Your brows are furrowed and you look concerned”.

    Tina said “Mmm… nothing is wrong sweetie. Don’t worry”.

    Bette said “T, If we are being honest with each other then why won’t you talk to me about what you are thinking”.

    Tina sighed and said “Oh Bette, I just don’t want you to worry sweetie. I am fine. I was just thinking about everything that has happened to us. I was thinking about the progress we have made and the progress that you have made with your health”.

    Bette said “It doesn’t feel fast enough to me”.

    Tina said “Well babe, you never were very patient. But all your hard work has paid off because guess what today is?”

    Bette turned her head to look Tina in the eyes and said “Today, I get my pins out”.

    Tina glared back with pride and said “Today you get your pins out”.

    Bette said “Maybe we should get up and you can check with the nurses station or doctor to find out how to get this started today”.

    Tina said “You are anxious about this huh sweetie?”

    14. Oh no is Jodie back..thats not good for Bettes recovery…Bettes needs to be at least back at 90% to deal with Jodie. Please don’t wait so long to post..good update.
