Always the Bestfriend, Never the Girlfriend Chapter 4

”Come in” Tina is waiting for Alexis to pop out her head but it was Bette who entered the door.
”Tee..” Bette called Tina but the blonde stared at the brunette and answered coldly
”Bette, not right now. I don’t want to talk to you yet. Maybe you can give me two weeks too before I would like to talk to my bestfriend”. Tina replied with sarcasm.
”Okay. I’m sorry for disturbing you Tee. I’ll be back later” Bette shyly bow down her head. For a few seconds she just stood in front of Tina’s table and observed the blonde who is really busy signing some of her documents. She wanted to hug Tina but she knows that the blonde is still annoyed with her so maybe she will just invite the blonde later for lunch.
She pulled out the rose from the pocket of her coat and put it down on Tina’s table and walked out of the
blonde’s office without any other word from Tina.
When Tina heard the clicked of the door she stared at the rose that Bette left for her. She pick it up and smelled the flower and smiled.
By lunch time, Bette was already busy with all the work that piled up due to her two weeks of absence. Her plan to invite Tina for lunch was already forgotten. Her head is starting to throb so she massaged her temple and closed her eyes. When suddenly, she felt someone staring at her so she opened her eyes only to be startled to see Tina standing in front of her desk.
”Tee.. mmm.. do you need anything from me?” Bette asked
”Well I heard from ALexis that you didn’t go out for lunch so I brought a sandwich” Tina replied the she deposited the paper bag on Bette’s coffee table and stepped backwards.
Bette is about to get up from her swivel chair to approach the blonde when suddenly Tina motioned her to stop.
”Bette, let’s talk tonight at my apartment. Be there at seven”. Tina said and left the the office without waiting for the response of the brunette.
”Thanks Tee” Bette mumbled to herself.
Bette is grinning while eating her sandwich thinking that it is the best tasting sandwich that she has eaten so far. For her it is a good sign that Tina wants to talk to her too ”I can’t wait for our dinner date later. Oh wait! It is just a dinner. At least for Tee’s part.” Bette thought to herself and smiled.

I hope Tina is serious and not playing games with Bette. I think Bette should have either broken up with her girlfriend or they agree to take a break. This just looks like she waited for Mika to go out of town so she could play. Can’t wait to read more. Thanks for posting.

This was an interesting chapter.
I understand that Bette could not stand the uncertainty, and wanted to move forward. whatever happens after that she told her feelings for Tina.
it really would have been better if Bette, breaks up with Mika! (I have a feeling Mika will not go easy, she really possessive personality.)
I feel like, Tina did not take this thing seriously, why did not she tell Bette how she feel?

That must be the song of Bette for Tina. But seriously, Bette need to remember the word “assuming”. reacting so quickly.. giving up so easily without hearing what Tina’s about to say. She’s really afraid, isn’t she? She wanted to be sure first. Is that the reason why she didn’t broke up with Mika first before she confess her feelings for Tina? I’m with them, she should’ve broken up with her gf first. But since you’re not ready yet to let go of Mika, then so be it. I think Mika is not that easy to get rid of. Maybe you should bring on some drama. It’s gonna be exciting! Ok, I get it! Tina’s not ready, She’s still confused. She’s not that sure about her feelings for Bette yet.
I’m curious how’s Bette going to woo Tina, her Bette Porter style. Looking forward to the time that Tina will become the girlfriend, not only the bestfriend. Thank you so much for posting. Hope you had fun on your vacation. please post more..
I dont think Tina should tell Bette that she have to woo her and sweep her off her feet…i think she should let Bette do it naturally this isn’t a game this is bette heart she playingwith

Um, this is not good, Bette should break up with Mika before her and Tina start dating. But I am happy they admitted their feelings. Just curious that based on the title if they will actually be a couple.
