Chapter 5 – Start of Something New
”Wow! Is this really happening? Bette.. my bestfriend is in love with me? You are stupid! Of course Tina she is in love with you. You just heard her declaration.” Tina giggled and shook her head.
She went again to the flower vase where she deposited and carefully arranged the roses that Bette gave her. For the tenth time since Bette left her apartment she smelled the flowers and carefully rearranged it again. When she was already contented with the arrangement, she transferred the vase to the center table, she tilted her head and looked at it carefully and smiled again for she knows that this will not be the last time that she will receive flowers from her bestfriend.
She decided to call it a night and prepared for bed when she heard the ringing of the phone in her bed side. She crawled on her bed and picked up the phone.
”Hello”
”Hey Tee!”
”Bette?”
”Yes it’s me. Just like to say thank you again. I was actually nervous that you will be mad at me but you took it so well. Thanks Tee” Bette said softly
”B, are you sure of what you really feel for me? I mean to be honest I am feeling something for you too. You know that I have always been protective of you whenever that their are girls who are flirting with you but this time I… I am jealous of Mika. I feel threatened of her and I felt like you are already serious with Mika so I started to feel competitive with her. I don’t want to lose you Bette.” Tina said with hint of insecurities.
”Tee, I am not sure of your feelings towards me but I am one hundred percent sure of my feelings for you. I love you Tee. I kept this for so long but I can breathe now coz I have already said it to you. Now I want to know if you are sure that you want to explore the feelings that you have for me or you still have doubts. I don’t want to keep my hopes high.. you can still back out if you want to.” Bette said nervously

Too much temptation. Bette should find Mika and end it. This is gonna be a long month, with Alice’s interference and the girl’s attraction to each other. Good chapter. Can’t wait to read more. Thanks for posting.

Yep, get rid of Mika. Otherwise, Bette is just a cheater and that lessens her relationship w/Tina before it even begins.

Oh God, that “courtship” thing is so cheesy.. Yeah, it’s cheesy but I love it! It’s nice to see a different Bette and Tina here. It was so sweet of Bette to do those things to Tina. Yeah, what’s the fun if you get rid of Mika that easily. But I’m just hoping that Bette here is not like the Bette on the show.. you know, the cheater. Looking forward for Mika coming back from her trip. Until then, please continue the courtship. Thank you for the quick update even on your vacation. Hope you have a better internet access there back home. Please post more.

Bette should stay with Mika and i looovee Tina but if she wants Bette she should go after her instead of being jealous every time Bette on a date…I’m tired of bette doing all the chasing and crying over tina it’s time for a change , come on Scribe give us a change make Tina do the chasing and crying for once..love the story so far by the way
Me too, tired of seeing Bette doing the chasing and Bette has been doing that since they we’re little. I’m with everyone else she should break it up first with Mika before starting anything with Tina. Thanks for posting scribe and keep the chapters coming.

and you are right scribe. Mika can spice this story, but I agree with the others. If she stays, just the same as that in the show, Bette’s character becomes cheater. Bette much more enjoyable for me if such a romantic. (courtship liked it, but I agree, need to take a step Tina, too.)
Tina can’t expect to just be jealous and Bette say the three words. She needs to show how she feel towards Bette.
Alice freaked me out. I can not hide, I did not like her character. point because she always intervened so deeply into the lives of others, and everyone left her “because she is Alice”
I hope this will not be here :)
I know you do not want to go Mika yet, but the characters will take it in a different direction, which I think is not fit for this wonderful story. so like it ;)

What the hell Tina, you could have said no to Alice. That date was just wrong with Jason. Drunk sex is never a good ideal. But Bette apparently knew about the date, interesting.
