Always the Bestfriend, Never the Girlfriend Chapter 4

Bette took the hands of Tina and kissed it ”Tee, Mika is still officially my girlfriend but I am planning to talk to her after her thirty days trip from Boston to end our relationship regardless of the outcome of our.. courtship?” Bette grinned
”Okay. I’ll give you then thirty days to win my heart. I hope that is already enough for you.” The blonde challenged the overwhelmed brunette
”Challenge accepted! I think that you are already head over heels in love with me after our first few dates so I don’t really need that thirty days.” The brunette laughed and hugged Tina
”Hmmp! You are crazy Porter!”
”Yes I’m crazy Tee. Crazy in love with you.” Bette said then she leans in to kiss the blonde on the lips but the blonde was able to quickly cover her lips with her hand so the kiss of the brunette landed on Tina’s hand.
”Not so fast Porter! You have already hugged me when I haven’t even given you a permission yet and now you already wanted the second base” Tina said then she wrinkled her nose and gave the brunette a cute pout.
Bette just simply shrugged and laughed at the blonde
”Bette, it’s getting late. Suitors are not allowed to stay over night. Right?” Tina asked with a laugh
”Yeah.. right. However, I’ll only say goodbye for tonight if you will agree to have a date with me on Friday.”
”Mmm… Okay B!” Tina leans in towards Bette then she whispered on the brunette’s ear ”Make sure that you can sweep me off my feet” then she winked at Bette
”Sure Tee. Just expect the unexpected. Okay?”
”I’ll be expecting B” Tina said flirtatiously
”Could you grant me a goodnight kiss on the cheeks before I go?” Bette asked
”Sure Bette.” Tina leans in to kiss the brunette on the cheeks when suddenly the brunette turned her head. So the kiss of the blonde landed on Bette’s lips. She wasn’t able to react quickly so for a few seconds she was able to feel the soft lips of the brunette
”Bette Porter!!! I can’t believe this!” Tina said after their kiss then she crossed her arms above her chest and pretended to be angry with Bette
The brunette laughed and then winked on the blonde and said her parting words ”Good night Tee. See you on our first date.”
The brunette walked towards the door. When she was already a few steps away from the door, the brunette turned again ”Tee… thank you. I promise that you’ll never regret this.” Then she continued her walk towards the door but when she was already in front of it she turned again and said ”and Christina Kennard.. I love you.”
When the brunette has already opened the door, the blonde called the brunette ”B.. take care. See you on Friday”
The brunette nodded and smiled then she closed the door leaving the blonde who is now touching her lips and reminiscing the kiss that transpired awhile ago.

I hope Tina is serious and not playing games with Bette. I think Bette should have either broken up with her girlfriend or they agree to take a break. This just looks like she waited for Mika to go out of town so she could play. Can’t wait to read more. Thanks for posting.

This was an interesting chapter.
I understand that Bette could not stand the uncertainty, and wanted to move forward. whatever happens after that she told her feelings for Tina.
it really would have been better if Bette, breaks up with Mika! (I have a feeling Mika will not go easy, she really possessive personality.)
I feel like, Tina did not take this thing seriously, why did not she tell Bette how she feel?

That must be the song of Bette for Tina. But seriously, Bette need to remember the word “assuming”. reacting so quickly.. giving up so easily without hearing what Tina’s about to say. She’s really afraid, isn’t she? She wanted to be sure first. Is that the reason why she didn’t broke up with Mika first before she confess her feelings for Tina? I’m with them, she should’ve broken up with her gf first. But since you’re not ready yet to let go of Mika, then so be it. I think Mika is not that easy to get rid of. Maybe you should bring on some drama. It’s gonna be exciting! Ok, I get it! Tina’s not ready, She’s still confused. She’s not that sure about her feelings for Bette yet.
I’m curious how’s Bette going to woo Tina, her Bette Porter style. Looking forward to the time that Tina will become the girlfriend, not only the bestfriend. Thank you so much for posting. Hope you had fun on your vacation. please post more..

Um, this is not good, Bette should break up with Mika before her and Tina start dating. But I am happy they admitted their feelings. Just curious that based on the title if they will actually be a couple.
