Bette’s fingers moved up Tina’s forearm causing her to shiver with desire for the brunette.
“Our first date and I hope and pray that it is the first of a lot of dates. I want to find out about you – no Emily okay – not tonight “
“So no talk about our ex’s or our kids – kind of limits the conversation “she grinned as she accepted the menu from the waiter
“Could we have a bottle of the best red wine please “Bette said to the waiter as she released Tina’s hand from hers and took the menu.
They were both silent for a few minutes until both had ordered – a chicken dish for Tina and fish for Bette. Alone Bette lent back and looked with obvious approval in her eyes for the blonde. The dress gave the slightest hint of cleavage and Bette was trying hard not to look too obviously at Tina’s breasts. Tina was also looking at Bette’s cleavage which was more on display than Tina’s.
“We can either talk or look at each others boobs all night “Tina said after a long silence
Bette grinned “Guilty as charged – can we not do both? “
“So you a boob or butt lesbian? “
“Can I not be both? “
“That’s just greedy “
“So I like the finer things in life and the female form is very fine to me – especially the one I am looking at now “
“Thought you were nervous Porter – are you always this smooth?”
“I get smoother “Bette smiled – she wasn’t nervous but she was loving being alone with Tina – enjoying her laugh and her wonderful smile.
“So we aren’t talking about kids or partners – what shall we talk about? “

“How’s the book? “
“Doing really well – how’s yours? “
“Painful – every word is like pulling teeth “
“Are you normally like that ? “
“No – this one has been in production for the last year or more. I wrote the first chapter before I found out that Ollie was cheating on me – every time I came back to it – it gave me bad memories. Plus I have several ideas for my next book and I would rather be getting into that than continuing with this one “

Well, as long as they got a secluded table. They can still go to a French restaurant eventually. And I think Bette & Tina ought to go camping alone a time or two before taking the kids along. Not much privacy in a Winnebago. Even less in a tent-reminds me of the time I was a kid camping with my parents and the young couple retired to their tent for the night bringing their lantern with them. The eventually realized that they were putting on a silhouette striptease for the campground before they doused the light.

GOD, Ally! You should’ve rated that as a mental R or NC-17. That has to be one of the hottest first dates I’ve ever read. Hi Ally, More wonderful writing as Bette and Tina embark on relationship together. There was gentle teasing, lustful looks, genuine connection and the beginnings of love. I adored the sharing of their dessert. This was such an intimate act and demonstrated the potential of there is to come.
