    B&T reconnect 9 years after season 1: Bette spends more time with Tina and Eli

     

    Eli had been stopping to pick up shells but it was hard for him to hold them with the cast on his arm so he started to walk back towards his mom.

     

    "Mom can you hold on to these for me?"

     

    "Sure baby. I’ll put them in my bag, try not to get sand in your cast."

     

    "I won’t." With that Eli walked back out front with Nero.

     

    "I’m sorry babe I’ve been monopolizing most of the conversation."

     

    "Don’t apologize I love hearing you talk…"

     

    "Enough about me. I want to hear a little about you. Eli told me about your new house."

     

    "Yeah it’s still in West Hollywood it’s a lot like my old apartment."

     

    Tina smiled. "Art everywhere."

     

    Bette laughed. "Yes art everywhere. I turned one of the spare rooms into an office. Then there’s the pool, which was the reason I bought the house."

     

    "You do love to swim."

     

    "Yes I do. I’ve always found it relaxing."

     

    "The house sounds great."

     

    "It’s a nice house. Of course I’ve been told that it’s lacking a certain warmth."

     

    Tina turned her head sharply towards Bette but they continued to walk. "Who said that?"

     

    Bette looked sheepishly at Tina. "No one really but that’s how it feels there sometimes."

     

    "I’m sorry that you feel that way about your home…"

     

    Bette stopped walking and effectively stopped Tina by holding on to her hand. She looked Tina in the eye and softly said. "What we lived in was a home. What I’m living in now is just a house."

     

    Tina didn’t know what to say to that. Because although she felt something similar to what Bette felt, that all changed when Eli came into her life. Bette gave Tina a sad smile and nodded towards Eli.

     

    "Come on his starting to get away from us."

     

    Bette started to walk again. Tina was still standing in the same spot unsure of how to proceed, she snapped out of it and caught up to Bette. She then reached down and took Bette’s hand in hers. Bette turned to her and smiled.

     

    "I still have our old place you know."

    1. The whole stories is beautiful. Eli is so sweet,and Bette and Tina are so in love and just needsome time and Bette will make sure that they have that. I just wonder when Bette will ask about Eli’s name. I believe that Bette loves Eli as much as Tina does. thanks so much for posting thanks

    5. Great chapter, Tori. Do so love this story. So happy that you show the love between them and with Eli as well. They are taking things slowly soas to cement their relationship for the future with no problems. I want Bette to ask Tina about Eli’s name and surely she did that on purpose, at least I hope. Bette showing her jealousy is kinda sweet and endearing. No one had better mess with her Tina. Great.

    10. This is a delightful story. I love it b/c it shows the possibilities if two people in love are willing to bridge the hurt and forgive the unforgivable then they can prevail. It also shows how energy and life consuming hatred can be. Carpe diem!

    14. I am so addicted to your story, I pulled it up this morning b4 work and now I’m playing hookey just so I could read it; good thing work is only 5 minutes away! I live on campus..hanging out for the date and if B’s gonna have more galleries then she can just have one in NY to give her reason to be with Tina and Eli…and James can run the LA one…or Tina can relocate her job somehow to LA…everythings fixable, when you’re that much in love. Thanks for the extra long post. I will hang at out for the next one.
