    B&T reconnect 9 years after season 1: Bette spends more time with Tina and Eli

     

    "Don’t be embarrassed you two. I’m going to get you guys some menus."

    Bette looked over at her sister. "Thanks Kit."

     

    "Um hmm."

     

    Eli was now leaning over the table trying to get Anna to tell him what kind of present she wanted for her birthday. Bette leaned back over towards Tina.

     

    "You know for a second there I thought you were going to kiss me."

     

    Tina smiled back at Bette. "I was."

     

    Bette sighed at hearing that. "I can’t wait to get you alone."

     

    "Neither can I. Lucky for us our dates tomorrow."

     

    "I know I have everything ready for tomorrow."

     

    "I won’t ask for any hints because I know you won’t give me any."

     

    Bette laughed at that. "You know me so well."

     

    Kit came back with the menus and they ordered their lunch.

     

    "So T how’s Alice as a houseguest?"

     

    "It’s been a lot of fun. She even made-up with Nero."

     

    Eli turned to Bette. "Yeah he brought her flip-flops to her when she got out of the pool."

     

    "Alice would love a dog that brought her things."

     

    Eli laughed. "Aunt Alice is trying to teach him to bring her more stuff."

     

    Lunch went well. Carmen filled Tina in on all her plans for the birthday party. Eli filled Bette in on what he’d been up to, and they even made plans to visit another museum this time with Tina. Everything was going great when Monica walked in.

     

    Since Shane had a great view of the door she saw her before Monica saw Bette. Shane got Bette’s attention and nodded her head towards the door. Bette turned and paled when she saw Monica. Bette knew that if she didn’t get rid of Monica that she would come over to the table. She didn’t want to expose Eli or Tina to Monica, heck she didn’t want to expose herself to Monica. Alice was right Monica could be a real bitch sometimes. Bette knew she had to get but she also knew that she had to give Tina a head’s up first.

     

    So Bette took a deep breath and leaned in close to Tina. "T…"

    5. Great chapter, Tori. Do so love this story. So happy that you show the love between them and with Eli as well. They are taking things slowly soas to cement their relationship for the future with no problems. I want Bette to ask Tina about Eli’s name and surely she did that on purpose, at least I hope. Bette showing her jealousy is kinda sweet and endearing. No one had better mess with her Tina. Great.

    10. This is a delightful story. I love it b/c it shows the possibilities if two people in love are willing to bridge the hurt and forgive the unforgivable then they can prevail. It also shows how energy and life consuming hatred can be. Carpe diem!

    14. I am so addicted to your story, I pulled it up this morning b4 work and now I’m playing hookey just so I could read it; good thing work is only 5 minutes away! I live on campus..hanging out for the date and if B’s gonna have more galleries then she can just have one in NY to give her reason to be with Tina and Eli…and James can run the LA one…or Tina can relocate her job somehow to LA…everythings fixable, when you’re that much in love. Thanks for the extra long post. I will hang at out for the next one.
