    B&T reconnect 9 years after season 1: Bette spends more time with Tina and Eli

     

    Anna gave Tina a big smile and nod.

     

    Eli laughed at his mom. "Mom always had fun planning my birthday parties."

     

    Tina looked over at her son. "You loved the parties I threw you. Come here." Tina pulled Eli over and kissed his head.

     

    "Thank you so much Tina. That leaves one less detail for me and Shane."

     

    "Don’t mention it Carmen. So do you have all the other details planned?"

     

    "Well we know that it’s going to have a princess theme, since Anna’s really into fairytales right now." Shane said as she looked over at Anna.

     

    "Yeah and we’re getting most of the food from the Planet. We just have to give the invitations to the kids in Anna’s play group and some of my family. We already ordered the cake and presents. Everything else is pretty much ready."

     

    "Okay well if you need anything from me I’d be happy to do it."

     

    "Thanks Tina."

     

    "Don’t mention it Shane." Tina looked over at Eli. "We have to go shopping for Anna’s present."

     

    Eli didn’t really like to go shopping but it was for his cousin so he was willing to make an exception. "Okay. I’ll pick the toys you can get the clothes and other stuff."

     

    Tina smiled at her son. "Deal."

     

    Kit joined them later they were all having a good time when Shane looked over towards the door and saw Bette walk in. Bette was looking around for Tina and her smile widened when she found her. Shane noticed that Bette’s smile started to turn into a frown when she noticed that she wasn’t the only person looking in Tina’s direction. She forgot how jealous she’d get when it came to Tina. She made her way over to Tina, scowling at a few women as she passed them. She reached the table and put her hand onto Tina’s shoulder.

     

    "Hey T."

     

    Tina turned towards Bette and smiled. "Hey babe did you get my message?" As Tina said this she got up from her chair to give Bette a hug.

     

    Tina forgot how good Bette looked in her power suits, and Bette was reacting just like Carmen thought she would. Tina looked great, Bette wrapped her arms around Tina’s waist. She decided to hold onto Tina a bit longer than usual to let everyone know that Tina was with her. Bette went over to hug Eli before taking her seat by Tina.

They are taking things slowly soas to cement their relationship for the future with no problems. I want Bette to ask Tina about Eli’s name and surely she did that on purpose, at least I hope. Bette showing her jealousy is kinda sweet and endearing. No one had better mess with her Tina. Great.

    10. This is a delightful story. I love it b/c it shows the possibilities if two people in love are willing to bridge the hurt and forgive the unforgivable then they can prevail. It also shows how energy and life consuming hatred can be. Carpe diem!

    14. I am so addicted to your story, I pulled it up this morning b4 work and now I’m playing hookey just so I could read it; good thing work is only 5 minutes away! I live on campus..hanging out for the date and if B’s gonna have more galleries then she can just have one in NY to give her reason to be with Tina and Eli…and James can run the LA one…or Tina can relocate her job somehow to LA…everythings fixable, when you’re that much in love. Thanks for the extra long post. I will hang at out for the next one.
