“Over there.” Spencer pointed to a small clearing in the woods.  “Look.”  She said as the teenagers stood wide eyed.

Madison and Aiden were leaning up against a tree caught in a heated lip lock.  They seemed to have forgotten about the game and were more interested in sucking face.  In the process of getting lost, Aiden and Madison had ample time to talk.  The boy couldn’t resist but fall for this side of her amidst their dilemma.

“Well, I say we break up this little love fest.”  Kasey added, placing the mask over her smiling face.  The group nodded and crept around the two who stood in the clearing.  The plan was simple; surround and destroy!  No mercy.

“Doom’s ready and willing. Over.”  Spencer giggled as she spoke into her radio.  She was pressed up against a tree to their left.  She felt like a child again.  She could be as corny and immature as she wanted and no one would give her flack about it.

“Gloom here, I’m set.”  Kyla’s voice resonated over the line.  The young Davies was stationed directly in front of the pair, well-hidden behind a bush.

“Stumpy’s ready for action!”  Ashley replied, crouched to the right of the couple.  They awaited the final ok from Kasey as she scurried near the duo.  When satisfied she had a great spot behind them, she raised the radio to her lips.

“Runt here, it’s a go.  On three we move in.”  Kasey smiled.  “One…”  The four of them took a deep breath as Madison and Aiden continued embracing one another oblivious to the group that surrounded them.

“Two…”  They placed their fingers on the triggers and eagerly awaited the final count.

“Three!”  The group of girls pounced from their hiding spots and yelled.  Madison and Aiden immediately split and fumbled with their equipment.  Before any of them could figure out where the battle cries were coming from they were pelted with paintballs.

Left, Right, Front, Behind…. Paintballs were coming from every which angle.  “Hit the deck!”  Aiden yelled to Madison as they were both hit several times before finally dropping to the floor.  They quickly held their guns up and began shooting back.
