“Madison on the other hand, the more I get to know her the more we have in common. I think this could really work.”  Kasey subtly bounced her head up in down in acknowledgement.

“Well, I’m happy for you.”  She wiped the sweat from her brow and elbowed him in the arm.  “Thanks bud.”  Aiden replied, slinging an arm around her shoulders.

They reached camp and reloaded before darting out into the wilderness for another round.  The final score was Ken and Barbie:1, Doom and Gloom: 2, Runt and Stumpy: 4.  To no one’s surprise, the overly competitive Ashley and Kasey won the day’s events.  After 7 rounds it was time to call it quits and head back.

It wasn’t long before they had arrived on site and wasted no time finding clean clothes to change into.  Kasey and Ashley stood near the pit trying to rekindle the dying fire before changing.  Kasey’s eyes wandered over to a figure in the woods and remained there for a moment.  The outline lifted her shirt over her head and tossed it aside, standing quietly in her bra as she reached for an article of clothing next to her.  Her bare back, tanned body, and silky skin made Kasey’s mouth go dry.  Ashley noticed the girl’s sudden silence and followed her gaze.  She smiled and shook her head.

Kasey swallowed hard and briskly snapped her head back toward a smiling Ashley when realizing that the woman she was glancing at was Kyla.  “Oh, uh..Did you get the uh..fire going yet?”  She tried to divert Ashley’s attention back to the task at hand.

“I didn’t know you liked my sister.”  She nudged the girl.  “Huh? I don’t know what you’re talking about.  But I think we should get this going, everyone’s getting hungry.”  Kasey kept her eyes on the embers when finally a flame flickered.  “Victory is mine!”  She threw a fist in the air.

“You can’t avoid this forever but for now, I’ll let it slide.”  Ashley smiled and headed toward her tent to change.  Kasey took a deep breath and let it out shakily. ‘God Damn Kase, keep it together will you.’ she laughed to herself as she changed in Aiden’s tent.
