Within Temptation – (Chapter: 85: 50 years later)
It was nearing time for Kyla to force feed Spencer her lunch. Spencer was still in bed sobbing and clutching Ashley’s pillow as if her life depended on it. She had never felt such pain in her life and she literally wanted to die. In the middle of her crying she heard a voice. She didn’t ease up, because she assumed Kyla had come back. Kyla had seen her completely messed up over this, so there was no point in hiding it, but she was wrong. Kyla was still in her own home.
Sitting at the foot of the bed was a very real and young looking Ashley Davies. Spencer thought she was going crazy, which didn’t surprise her in the least. She welcomed the insanity if it meant she could look at and hear her Ashley. Spencer didn’t stop crying, but she did calm down a small bit. Ashley crawled up the bed and rested next to Spencer. The bed didn’t shift nor did the blankets crumple. It was as if no one was there, but Spencer clearly saw her wife.
“Shhh, Spence. I hate when you cry. Especially over me.”
Instead of asking the normal questions Spencer spoke in her broken voice, which cracked many times.
“I love you Ashley. I miss you so much.”
Speaking seemed to be the thing that triggered her waterworks. She burst into tears once more, but she didn’t dare take her eyes off of Ashley.
“Shh, I love you. Please smile for me? I miss that smile. I miss you.”
Spencer calmed down as best as she could and she began to have halfway sane thoughts. Normal people would ask why the person was there, so Spencer decided to do just that.
“How are you here? Why can I see you? Can anyone else see you or am I going crazy?”
“You aren’t going crazy, but only you can see me. I am here because God has everyone’s lives written out before they are even born and I lived long enough to fulfill what I was created for. Though I’m not sure what it was.”
“That doesn’t explain why you came back. I want to die and go be with you.”
“You can’t do that.”
“Why not?”

the ending was great i cried a little but i liked it
There was a lot left unsaid due to the few large leaps into the future. What wasn’t said in my story is just left to the imagination. That’s how I want it. Sometimes things are better that way :3
I’ll definitely be posting on FF.net. I tried posting stuff there before but I had a hard time with it. It always jumbled my stuff together which is one reason I prefer writing on this site.
this was awesome from beging to end
