The King High Killer – (Chapter: Chapter 11 Eleven, Die and Go to Heaven)

“So what does that mean?” Ashley asked from across the room. The brunette paced as she read the files, trying to block out that she knew these victims, as she studied their deaths.

    “The coroner-”

    “Victoria Marks.”

“Yes. She noted next to his file that it could possibly mean that there is a second killer. However, so far he is the only one that doesn’t match up.”

“Does that mean maybe the Killer didn’t do it?” Spencer asked from the chair she was stuffed into, sitting Indian style on the other side of Carmen’s bed.

“Well Marks makes several comments on the fact that, although he wasn’t a teenager, he was definitely murdered by the same weapon. Everything about the wound points to the sword. She notes that there might have been a second killer who only murdered just that once.”

Spencer rubbed her head in frustration and exhaustion. They had nearly been at this for an hour and this was so far their first lead. At least, she thought, it was a lead, she just didn’t see where it was leading to.

“Okay.” The blonde said slowly, trying to jump-start her tired brain. “So their have been how many murders?”

“Nine dead and four that haven’t been confirmed because of the lack of bodies for evidence.” Ashley said bitterly, referring to Jonica, Sherry, Cholo, and David.

“And all of them have been King High students that follow our theory, except for J.P. But he was definitely killed by the same weapon, but by someone other than our Killer.”

“Bout sums it up.” Lily said, still hunched over J.P’s file.

“So why is he different?” Both Lily and Ashley were quiet as they considered.

“Think about it this way…” Ashley started slowly, thinking about the deaths and events after J.P’s murder through. “Why would someone who is following an obvious pattern branch out? For two reasons.” Lily and Spencer watched closely as the brunette paced the length of the room.

“Either because he knew something or he was in the way of something.” Spencer narrowed her eyes at her ex best friend as she tried to follow along.

“Think about it this way, Spence. After everything that has happened at the diner, do you think it would have been easier or harder for those things to have occurred if J.P was working?” Lily sat up straighter in her seat.

    1. (SQUEEEE!!!) sooo glad you’re still writing this! hell, i’m overjoyed when you write anything. i feel like i’ve hit a plateau with the compliments. at this point, after reading and loving every SON story you’ve written, like fifty times, i hope it’s enough to just reiterate that i truly appreciate your time and talent :)

    2. okay first of all…i hate you. you made me wait forever and i don’t appreciate it. BUT…i do appreciate this update and everything about it. i need the next two updates….NOW. damn you, you make me crave each of your stories so that i don’t know which one i want you to work on. you had me all about the glee fic and now i just want to read the rest of this. i’m sure once the glee fic comes out i’m going to want that to be continued. damn your mind games! it was just so good, and who is this rude killer? what do the files say? why are two people chasing them? who has access to the police head quarters. i’m not budging on my theory that it’s one of the adults… marie or mr. carlin. if it’s one of the police officers or coroners i’m going to be pissed that i didn’t see it sooner. once again, damn your mind games. text me when you read this so i can yell at you further.

    3. holy freakin hell it’s about time! I’ve been dying for this update, literally ready to scream at the computer willing it to appear. but anyway let’s see. wow so much is going on. I gotta say the whole “You may not know who I am, but I know who you are” has me thinking hard. and what the hell is up with the files for the ‘rents I would like to know. hmm, the student body now knows all of what spence and ash know, and the protege seems to have a soft spot for spence. I don’t quite know what to make of the 2 people outside of the Zee’s house. maybe it was the killer and the protege, maybe it was someone pulling a very twisted prank. kinda rude for Mr Zee not to wait for spence and ash though, geesh. buy alas, we’re coming to the ending. and that is sooo sad, but I’ll be glad to know what the hell is going on and the killer’s motives (hidden or otherwise) and all that. ahhh the ending here was so great, although I was really really hoping that spence would step up and confess her love for ash. guess I gotta wait for that. glad to know we’ll be getting the rest before Halloween. psyched for it!! awesome job mighty Stix!
