Not The Type 2: Established – (Chapter: Chapter 4)
“Yeah,” She pushes herself off the sink. “Are you going to refuse to have dinner with us too?” She questions.
“I can cook us dinner here.” I wave her off when she tries to talk. “But, if you want us to go over your parents…that’s what we’ll do.”
“Thank you.” She smiles.
“Hello!” Taylor yells from the other room. “Guys come get your kids!”
“Come on,” She grabs my hand. I slide off the counter and follow her into the other room.
“Play!” Paris yells and jumps on Taylors back.
“Paris, get off. Now.” Damn Spencer is so sexy when she uses that mom voice.
“Sorry.” She has a little sad face on while she sits down next to Taylor.
“Awww baby…” I smile at her. “Mama will play with you.” I tell her. I grab Sydney while making my way over to Paris. I put Sydney down next to her sister and start to tickle them.
“Hey Taylor.” Spencer waves at Taylor.
“What’s up?” Taylor smiles at Spencer then stands. “Hey Ash…” I grab Sydney little hands and pry them away from my hair.
“Yeah?” I gasp when Paris foot connects with my stomach. Somehow I find myself getting attacked by the kids.
“I know that hurts.” I roll my eyes at her even though she’s right. It hurts like a bitch. “I’m a head out. I’ll see you guys.” Taylor says goodbye and Spencer walks her to her car.
“About time you guys got her.” I hear Brooke voice as soon as I step into the Carlin resident.
“What are you doing here?”
“Ashley don’t be rude to my guest.” Paula says taking Sydney from my arms.
“Gran!” Paris run past me and attach herself to Paula’s leg.
“Where’s Spencer?” Jordan walks in from the dining room. Great the whole families here.
“Outside taking a phone call. I’ll get her.” I look around and see what my kids are doing. Paris is now trying to grab Jordan’s broken pinky and Sydney is laughing at the weird sounds her Grandma Paula is making. Noting that they’re fine, I make my way back outside.
“I can’t” Spencer talks into the phone. “Ashley has a meeting at four…yeah…I know.” She sighs. The person on the other end speaks. Spencer just stops pacing and stare at me while rolling her eyes at whatever the caller is saying. “I have to see what Ash says first…yeah…bye.”
