“Ashley, it’s good to see you up! How are you feeling?” Mr. C. asked.
“Alright. Thank you so much for the balloons,” I told them.
“No problem,” he replied.
“We’re just glad you’re feeling better,” Karen added.
“So, I’ve been thinking a lot about what we discussed at dinner… gosh, that feels like weeks ago,” Mr. Carlin said. I had almost forgotten; Spence and I were still waiting for his approval in terms of us moving in together. The two of us exchanged glances as we waited for him to continue. “And… I really don’t think it’s a good idea.”
“What?” Spencer asked.
“Just kidding,” he chuckled. “Go for it, girls.
“Really?!”
“Yes. But Spencer, I better not see those grades drop. And once you decline a dorm room, you won’t be able to reverse your decision. I’m trusting you here… both of you.”
“I know, Dad. Thanks.”
“Thank you so much Mr. C.!” I exclaimed. “I promise I’ll make her go to class, study, eat plenty of vegetables… whatever you want.” I felt some of my energy coming back slowly.
“Ew, maybe I don’t want to move in after all,” Spencer joked. I put on my best hurt face. “I’m kidding!”
“I know.” She kissed my cheek. Mr. C. and Karen then declared they had to get back to work, and that they would see me soon. After they walked out, Spencer and I both looked at each other, huge grins on our faces.
“Can you believe it?” she exclaimed.
“I know! If I wasn’t hooked up to a bunch of different machines I’d be jumping up and down, for sure,” I said, only half joking. She laughed and leaned in for a long kiss. I couldn’t remember the last time we had kissed; it felt amazing, plain and simple. “Wait… is it okay that you’re kissing me? I mean, I don’t want you to get sick too.”
“Oh, they put me and my family on meds yesterday,” she explained.
“Really?”
“Yeah… apparently you can get it from drinking out of the same cup or kissing… both of which we’ve done a lot of.”
“True.”
We spent the next few minutes or so discussing the apartment and what we wanted to do with it (and in it), until I started to get tired again.

I AM SOOO GLAD That you posted a chapter. I LOVE YOUR STORY!!!! It is sad that Ashley has to be like that to her dad, but he deserves it. I just hope that Ashley and SPencer will be okay and that Spencer will not start failing her classes at school when she moves in with Ashley. TTYL and I can’t wait to see what other ideas that you have for this story. Buh-bye!!!!!!!
Wow that was a great chapter. I`m shocked ashley dad came to see her. I`m glad ashley is doing alot better. And spencer dad is the best letting her move in with ashley. Cant wait for the next chapter. PMS.
Hey seeing how it says that u own Spencer and Ashley, would u pretty please mind sharring? I promise I will be a good gurl!!=), okay well anyways im glad that ashley was A OKAY!! gah u freakin scarred me!! SO happy ashley and spencer our moving in!!! yah!! Oh and Ashleys dad can step the flipper off!! so yeah good post!!! AWESOME!!

So, I definitely missed this story while I was away. I got back from my trip last night and was happy to see a new chapter. You know, I believe I saw this in the classified section of the newspaper the other day: Wanted – Father for young female. Must enjoy actually talking to and being engaged in said female’s life on a daily basis. Also, must not be jaded by fame. Raifes need not apply. I also recall reading in a medical journal that a speedy recovery from meningitis is possible via table clearing sex. On that note, you know I love this story and your writing Kozmic. Hook a sista’ up with another chapter when you can.
