    A Vampire's Lament – (Chapter: 7-Confrontation)

I found a half naked Aiden laying on the floor, and it seemed like he was half-assing his attempt to transform into a human being because his chest was abnormally hairy. His face looked almost normal, despite his large werewolf fangs exposing themselves occasionally as he lightly snored. His hair was disheveled and his ears slightly deformed due to the lack of proper transformation.

Kyla slept on the couch, but her eyes were opening from the sounds of hurried footsteps waking her up.

"Aiden! Aiden, you douche, please wake up!" Spencer demanded through gritted teeth. The large boy grunted but did not give a sign that he was going to follow Spencer’s orders. That was until she decided to kick him in the ribs and I fearfully backed away from the two of them.

Disturbing a werewolf from sleep is a very dangerous thing to do.

"What do you want!?" He growled at her, rubbing his eyes with his hand-like paws. He was now turning on his stomach, transforming back to a human being properly.

Spencer was scowling and his werewolf characteristics did not seem to frighten her. She knelt in front of him and extended her arm forward not to help him up but to pull his hair. "I want to know everything you know. I want to understand what’s going on but Ashley’s stalling so I need someone useful!" She spat out, ignoring his angered facial expression.

Her words stung me surprisingly because I am useful. She’s just not ready to learn all this at once. It would drive anybody to the brink of insanity if they took in all this information in very little time.

Aiden glared at me for a second before he pushed away Spencer’s hand away gently. He stood up really quickly and slid his white wife beater over his head and tucked it in his pants. He placed his hands on his hips and glanced at both Spencer and I with a grieving look.

"As you both are probably aware by now, I’m a werewolf but I was forcefully turned into one by Carmen." He began, being pulled back into the couch beside Kyla. She looked like a train wreck in the morning but that didn’t matter now that she was into Aiden’s story.
