Turns out Ally likes Mexican, and I like Ally more now than I did a few hours ago. We had a really good time at the restaurant and I was just about to let her know that until some jackass at the front started making a big deal about not being able to be seated. And how his girl friend really likes this place and blah, blah blah….wait a second. I knew that voice. It belonged to a bulkier than necessary High School boy. Also known as one Aiden Dennison. UH-OH. This was the last thing in the world I wanted right now. I didn’t want to have half of what was bothering me before show up here. Or anywhere for a very very long time. I wanted to leave. Immediately.

"Hey Ally, do you mind if we get out of here? I’m feeling kinda full and kind of tired. “I asked her looking a little jittery.

"Yeah of course. Let’s go" She said getting up and waiting for me to follow. She looked let down, and that didn’t sit well with me. I just wanted to leave because of the situation, not her.

"Hey, it’s not because of you. I was actually thinking that maybe we could go rent a movie and go watch it at my place…or yours whatever you want." I quickly defended actually liking my decision.

"Are you sure Ash? If not that’s totally fine too."

"Ally, I’m sure" I said extending my hand for her to hold.

As she grabbed my hand and we made our way to the door. Not seeing Aiden at the door any longer and breathing a sigh of relief.  Which didn’t last much longer than 10 seconds. He was at his car. With her. The person making my life hell for the past three days with deafening silence. This was the last thing I needed. I had to pass her, my car was that way. Oh God. This was horrible; I must have been a serial killer in my past life. This was all karma.

Still holding Ally’s hand we made our way towards my car. My pace getting faster as we got closer. I didn’t want to look up as I passed her, but it was like my head and my brain weren’t working together. Like it just popped up on its own. I know how that sounds, but I’m not crazy. I saw her, and she sure as hell saw me. She was hurt, that much I could tell. I don’t know why. She’s the one that left, not me. She wasn’t the one that should be angry, who should be hurt. A few days ago she sat with me telling me she didn’t like this guy, how he didn’t ‘get’ her. And once I pronounce my love and tell her I get her, I understand her she bolts. Right into his arms. That hurts, that’s pain. I didn’t stop to say hi, I kept walking. I walked with Ally by my side and tried to forget the look of hurt and confusion that was on Spencer’s face which I’m positive mirrored my own.

Now I was crushed for a whole different kind of reason.
