“Oh and she send her regards to everyone.” Shane continued.

“You talked to her?” Bette asked.

“Yes she just came back from meeting while I was chatting with Howie. She took the phone over and said hi.”

“That’s great Dana really seems to be more comfortable with us now.” Bette couldn’t help but to grin again. Both shared a look and diverted their gaze to the blonde. She was still looking down at her coffee and stirring it but they knew she was listening.

“Yes she even teased me when I told her I was about to settle down with Carmen. I was surprised. Then she said she got the information about me and Carmen from Howie and was happy for me.” Shane smiled when she recalled about the conversation.

“Dana is becoming herself more and more each day.” She continued.

Bette nodded and smiled. “I hope she will remember about her lives in LA one day.”

“Yeah I hope so.” Shane said hopefully.

There was silence at the table before Alice spoke.

“Hey guys I have to leave I need to go back to the office and finish my articles.” Alice said as she gathered her stuff and stood up. She hugged her friends and said goodbye before walking out from The Planet.

Bette looked at Alice’s way until she was out of sight.

“I hope I could figure out what’s in her head.” She took a sip of her coffee and pursed her lips.

“I still believe she is waiting for Dana to come back to her.” Shane said.

 “Let’s hope that our Dana would come back soon to face her past. Although she couldn’t remember us at all but I guess she needs to at least talk to Alice.”

Shane said nothing and just nodded in agreement. Not long after they left the place and headed to their respective workplace.

One month later

Alice sighed as she drove back to her apartment. It was one day hell at work but she managed to hand in three articles to her boss. She leaned her head onto the window as she waited for the traffic lights to turn to green. She looked at her watch. 9pm. Still early, she thought. As the lights turned green she took a turn to the right instead of her normal direction on the left. She exhaled and continued to drive along the road. Ten minutes later she reached her destination and pulled over to the side. She pulled the hand brake and contemplated for few minutes before she brought her gaze to the house on her left.
