Tina hung up and rejoined her family at the breakfast table.

“Who was that?”

“It was Helena. She could sense that I was acting weird around her and she wanted to make sure she didn’t do anything to offend me.”

“what did you tell her?”

“I told she didn’t, and that some memories of when she I were together came back and I was having trouble processing them.”

“Did you tell her what memory?”

“No Bette- I didn’t think she needed the details- now can we please drop this and enjoy the rest of our day off.”

“Yes I’m sorry- guess I’m still a little sensitive about it.”

“I understand- but you have to let it go or it will consume you.”

“I know- I think this whole situation is making me realize that I never really dealt with the whole Helena situation. You and I just got back together without ever talking about.”

“Well let’s add that to the list of things we need to work through when I get my memory back ok?”

“Ok- that list is getting longer and longer!”

The family enjoyed their day together and Bette slipped into bed next to Tina.

“I can’t believe I have to go back to work. Something I should probably tell you is that I’m in talks to leave the University and go back to having my own gallery.”

“Oh wow- that is a big deal uh?”

“It is- but it’s just something I feel like I have to do. A woman that I went to college with recently came back into my life and we are talking about being partners. She just received a large amount of money from a divorce and she is looking to make a name for herself in the LA art world, but she needs my help.”

“Well that sounds very exciting. When do I get to meet this old friend?”

“Um- I’m not sure. I’ll talk to her tomorrow and we’ll get together for dinner this week.”

“Ok- so is she just an old friend or an old girlfriend?”

“Well that is a long story T- one I’m not sure I want to get into tonight. Can we finish this tomorrow?”

“You are really going to leave me hanging?”

“Yes- now come here and kiss me good night”
