“Look, it’s great Shane, if things go well with Arianna then maybe you can get some film jobs, you can go on location, you can travel,” said Tina an a reassuring tone.  That’s it, think of something else besides the life growing inside of her, and definitely about something other than Bette Porter’s cheating, lying, self absorbed ass.

            “Yeah, yeah, that would be cool,” said Shane with a grin.

            “Yeah, that’s great, look I gotta go you guys,” said Tina in haste.  She never wanted to stay too long at The Planet, in fear of coming face to face with Bette.  Then her fear came to life, materializing right before her, she spotted Bette, coming right at them.

            “Don’t worry, I’m not going to ask to join you, I know that you all probably think I’m a monster.  I just have something that I need to say to Tina,” declared Bette.  Fresh in Bette’s mind was Kat’s words, beg Tina, get on her knees if she had too.  Plead her case, and hope that their love was strong enough to overcome this stupid thing that Bette had done.

            “Do you want us to go?” asked Shane, thinking that perhaps they needed their privacy.  The fall of the great and mighty Bette and Tina relationship didn’t sit well with Shane.  It had been the relationship that she’d held all good lesbian relationship to, and now this.  She understood that Bette had a sex thing with someone else, but it was just that, only sex.  Tina couldn’t understand that, but Shane could, it wasn’t about love, it was about sex and that primal urge that drove them. 

            “No,” said Tina, “If you have something to say, say it here,” stated Tina with as much bravado as she could muster.  She was ready to give Bette her due, both barrels worth, to get angry and not listen to Bette, no matter how sweet she was, or how convincing she was.

            “Tina,” a long pause from Bette, “I didn’t try to see you, or call you until now because I wanted to make sure that I could do what you asked of me.  I promise, I’m not ever going to see her again, I’m not ever going to speak to her again, I’m not ever going to think of her again.  I miss you, more than that, I need you.  I don’t think that… I don’t think that I can live without you.  It is completely and totally over.”
