    Chapter 17

     

     

    Shane and Tina’s apartment

     

     

    Tina was in her room trying on everything that she found in her closet. Which was not much. Most of her clothes were jeans and shirts.

     

    ‘Shane!’

     

    ‘…’

     

    ‘SHANE!!!’

     

    Shane came running into Tina’s room.

     

    ‘What is it? Did something happen?’

     

    ‘I…I have nothing to wear!’ Tina said pouting

     

    ‘Oh for christs sake…please…don’t do that to me!’

     

    ‘Do what?’

     

    ‘The I-have-nothing-to-wear-crisis! You are not the kind of girl who wears uncomfortable clothes just to impress a woman.’

     

    ‘But she is so…so…hot whatever she wears and I feel like the poor and ugly girl that broke into her apartment.’

     

    ‘Hey! Stop insulting my best friend. You are beautiful and hot and you have a killer body by the way! I have seen you often enough working out. Not easy to watch sometimes. I always have to remind myself that we are friends!’

     

    ‘You mean you would hit on me if we weren’t friends?’

     

    ‘Of course!’

     

    ‘Interesting….so what do you think I should wear?’

     

    ‘What are you guys doing?’

     

    ‘I am not sure. She invited me to her place.’

     

    ‘That means something casual would be good.’

     

    ‘You think?’

     

    ‘Sure…what about these black pants and the red shirt. You look good in that outfit and you feel comfortable, right?’

     

    ‘I look good? Good is not enough…I want to look hot and sexy…’

     

    ‘Ok ok…put on your slutty boots and she will take you right on the doorstep.’ Shane smirked

     

    ‘These beautiful boots are not slutty!’

     

    ‘I was just kidding…since when are you such a wuss?’

     

    ‘Sorry…I don’t know what is going on with me.’

     

    ‘Oh I think I know…you are nervous!’

     

    ‘No I’m not!’

     

    ‘Oh yes you are! But don’t worry. It will be fine. So go get changed!’

     

    Shane was about to leave the room when Tina said

     

    ‘Shane?’

     

    ‘Yeah?’

     

    ‘Thank you!’

     

    ‘You’re welcome!’

     

     

    She left and Tina got changed. After she was finished and checked herself in the mirror she went to the bathroom and applied a little bit of make up. She wanted it to look natural since Bette told her that she liked it that way. She grabbed her purse and jacket and knocked at Shanes door.
