”Wow what was that for?”

”I just missed you.”

”I missed you too, I can’t wait for the appointment Friday.”

”Me neither, I’m so nervous and excited.”

I decided not to tell her what happened today, she might be pregnant and I didn’t want to put any undo stress on her. She had a good day at work, she really loved her new job working with children, although they were sick, she enjoyed making them feel better.

After my lunch, the police informed me they had charged Nadia with indecent exposure, and stalking after I talked to them. They asked if I wanted to press charged but I declined, but I asked for a restraining order, hoping it wasn’t too late and I consulted with Joyce.

”Dr. Kennard-Porter?”

”Yes?”

”This is Paul Jameson, I am with the Los Angeles police department.”

”Yes sir, how can I help you?”

”I was calling to inform you Miss. Karella posted bail late last night, before we could get the restaining order through.”

”What does that mean,” I asked, alarm and panic settling in.

”It means that she hasn’t signed the order, effectly making it void. We’re looking for her, but if you see her please call us.”

”Of course,” I said and then immediately called Tina. I got no answer, I got super worried and left. It was her day off and we had the doctor’s appointment, so I drove to the planet hoping she was there, safe.

I hurridly parked, and breathed a sigh of relief when I saw her car parked out front. I hurried in, I had no choice but to tell Tina what was going on. If Nadia approached her, God knows what she would do or say. I see Tina sitting at our usual table with her arms crossed, she does not look happy.

”Hey baby,” I say and try to kiss her but she doesn’t move, ”what’s wrong?”

”You tell me.”

”I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

”We’re not doing this here, let’s go,” she snaps. I’ve never seen her like this, she’s never been mad like this before.

”Baby, talk to me, what happened?”

”Your friend,” she spat as I drove down the road.

”What friend?”

”Nadia, that one you kissed, she paid me a visit,” she said angrily, and I just stared at the road, I was floored.

”Oh fuck, whatever she said isn’t true.”

”She told me you had sex with her, everytime you were ‘late’ coming home from school.”

”Baby you know I would never cheat on you ever.”

”Why would she say that then,” she asks, the tears falling from her face.

”She’s obsessed. I didn’t want to tell you, I didn’t want to stress your body but she’s been stalking me. She had been Dana’s patient recently, and then she showed up crazy and naked in my office.”

”And you fucked her?”

”No! I would never cheat on you,” I yelled, ”I’d never jeopardize my family for anyone. You know that!”

”You’re keeping all these things from me, what am I supposed to think? I’m your wife, you should tell me everything!”

”I know but I didn’t want to stress you out and harm our baby,” I said facing her as I stopped at the light.

”That’s no excuse! I am your wife, if someone is hurting you I should know. You shouldn’t keep things like this from me! We’re one person, we need to get through things together!”

Before I could even respond there was a loud noise and our car flew forward. Our bodies jerked, I heard Tina cry out and before I knew it, there was another loud noise to the right and our car was thrown to the left. I blacked out, when I woke, we were upside down and I heard shouting. I heard sirens and a light moan coming from Tina’s lips, then it went black again.
