The Trouble With Love Chapter Sixteen

“Nothing. Anyway would you like my piece of advice for today? Before you go back to the hotel and talk to your woman?” asked Kate.
“My woman?” Now it Tina’s turn to raise an eyebrow.
“Yes, your woman. Anyway you’re distracting me. OK this is the way I see it. You called Bette and asked her to come to London. Bette then got on a plane, and lets face it nothing proves your love and devotion more than having to suffer nine hours on a plane and dealing with the evil jetlag afterwards, then she pitches up at Heathrow and you basically leave her wondering what the hell is going on at the hotel under the guise of leaving her to sleep. Is this a fair summation of events so far?”
“Did anyone tell you that you have a way with words?”
“I’ll take that as a yes. So my advice to you is to get back to that hotel and take her out to dinner, and in the process tell what you want, even if you don’t know what you want. Lay your cards on the table Tina, take a risk, I have a feeling that the rewards in return will be worth it.”
“You knew I was going to say that I don’t what I want, didn’t you?” smiled Tina, who was self conscious over her inability to express her feelings to Bette.
“And show the woman some affection, it doesn’t have to be much, just a little something to make it all seem worthwhile for her.”
“OK. You win. I just need to check on a few things here and then I’ll go back to the hotel and Kate, I know I keep saying this but, thank you, it really means a lot to me.”
“Anytime Tina.”
For the next hour Tina busied herself at the set ensuring that everything was still on course and no major disaster had befallen the production in her absence. Once she was satisfied she called on her driver to take her back to the hotel. Once she got there she started to feel the affects of her restless sleep from the previous night and as she knew that Bette was sleeping she decided to take a short nap herself. When she awoke she gave Bette a quick call to arrange what time they should meet for dinner, once that was arranged she took a long shower, knowing that Bette would make an effort for tonight Tina thought that she ought to as well.

this chap was unbelieveably sweet!! that is the B&T i love to see. episode 3 B&T made me sad and very uncomfortable. i miss them together moving as one unit, i’m glad to see that you’ve put them together like this. please post soon. PEACE.

The steps that they are taking needs to be slow and baby steps. We know they love each other but is that going to be enough for them.Being away from each other was good. Lets see how being together is. thanks
I have been thoroughly enjoying your take on the TiBette separation and reunion. In this tale, while the pain is there, the love is ever present. We need great stories like this to keep us going as it seems this season will be a relatively painful one, AGAIN. I only have one request…please post as often as your time permits.
That was so sweet. Glad Tina decided to give Bette something. Them taking small steps towards one another will only make their reunion all the more binding and significant. Their love is always present, now they need to work on reestablishing communication and trust. Thanks for the update, please continue.
