“You weren’t supposed to come back.” said Kate.
“She’s sleeping, and I need to get used to the fact that she’s actually here.”
“And there I was thinking that you were just checking up on me when all the time you’re just avoiding the person who just flew five thousand miles to be with you and, unless you forgot, whose presence here took three weeks of deliberating over before she was extended an invitation to visit.”
“I’m not avoiding her.” replied Tina
Kate didn’t reply to this but did raise an eyebrow which told Tina all she needed to know about Kate’s opinion of her last remark.
“OK, so maybe I am avoiding her, just a little”
“Tina, you can’t avoid someone ‘a little’. You either are or you aren’t, and you so are.”
“It’s so weird. I want to talk to her so much and now she’s here the only topics of conversation I can think of are ones that have minefield written all over them and, if only for today, I just want things to be good between us. “
“I think that things are better between the two of you than you give them credit for. You must have got some if the issues started on, if not finished with, during the time you spoke on the phone.”
“I guess we did, but talking to her face to face, all of a sudden, it seems a lot more difficult than I thought it would be.”
“So how was it, exactly, seeing her again?”
“It wasI couldn’t even move. I just wanted to look at her, take it all in and then I just wanted to hold her, and never let go ever again.”
“But I’m assuming that you didn’t actually do all of those things?”
“I did the looking and the taking it all in bit.” replied Tina, knowing what was Kate was getting at.
“Please tell me you at least gave her a hug. Surely she deserved that.”
“No.”
“Tina!”
“I know. I feel terrible about it now, but I don’t want to give her the wrong impression.”
“Or the right impression.” said Kate, under her breath.
“What was that?” asked Tina, knowing that Kate had said something that she couldn’t quite make out.

this chap was unbelieveably sweet!! that is the B&T i love to see. episode 3 B&T made me sad and very uncomfortable. i miss them together moving as one unit, i’m glad to see that you’ve put them together like this. please post soon. PEACE.

The steps that they are taking needs to be slow and baby steps. We know they love each other but is that going to be enough for them.Being away from each other was good. Lets see how being together is. thanks
I have been thoroughly enjoying your take on the TiBette separation and reunion. In this tale, while the pain is there, the love is ever present. We need great stories like this to keep us going as it seems this season will be a relatively painful one, AGAIN. I only have one request…please post as often as your time permits.
That was so sweet. Glad Tina decided to give Bette something. Them taking small steps towards one another will only make their reunion all the more binding and significant. Their love is always present, now they need to work on reestablishing communication and trust. Thanks for the update, please continue.
