Shane walked Carmen to her hotel room and stopped in front of the door. Carmen looked at Shane and smiled softly.

“I had a great time tonight. I really did. Thank you.”

“No problem,” Carmen nodded and grabbed her key out of her purse.

    “I’ll call you.”

“I’ll be waiting.” Carmen leaned over and gave Shane a kiss on the cheek. Shane grabbed Carmen by her waist and kissed her softly. Carmen pulled away and bit her lip.

“I gotta go,” Shane pulled her back into another kiss, and Carmen wrapped her arms around Shane. Carmen pulled away again and laughed softly. “I really gotta go.” Shane pulled away from her, and Carmen unlocked her door. “Bye,” Carmen closed the door, and Shane walked away. Shane shoved her hands in her pockets and walked towards the elevator.

    The next morning…

Helena got off the phone and rubbed her hand over her face. She got a knock on the door, and Tina walked in.

    “Hey,” Helena smiled at Tina.

“Hey, did you get a hold of Sofia’s people?”

“Yeah—about that.” Helena looked at Tina anxiously.

    “What?”

“They’re pulling out with us and going to Universal. They want too much money Helena.” Tina took a seat.

“Did you try to re-negotiate with them?”

“I tried my best, but they wouldn’t take what I was offering them.”

“Shit,” Helena leaned back in her chair.

“But, I have some good news.”

“That is,” Helena rubbed her brow.

“We got Michael Moore who wants to do another documentary on the Katrina effect, and he’ll go with the deal we got.”

“I don’t know if I’ll take another documentary on Katrina. I mean—I want something new and excited.”

“How about a girl who had a silver spoon in her mouth since she was born, finally take it out and work for her own money.” Helena looked up and frowned.

“Mummy right now is not the time for jokes.” Helena sighed. “I have enough shit on my mind.”

“Hello to you,” Peggy looked at Tina. “Hello Tina.”
