“What’s on the back of the picture Tina”  Al asks

“Keep an eye on the children for a minute Al”  Tina gets up and follows Bette out of the room, she finds her sat on a lounger by the pool.

“Hey” Tina sits on the edge of the lounger.

“Do you know how many hours I spent staring at these 3 letters”

“Yeah….I thought at the time they would keep you occupied for a while”

“Come on lazy bones…get up” Bette bursts in Tina’s bedroom.

Tina buries her head under the duvet

“Get up I’ve had a crazy idea” Bette continues.

Tina raises one hand and waves.

“I’m waving to the pig as it flies by”  Tina grumbles.

Bette grabs the bottom of the duvet and yanks it off the bed.

“Get…..” Bette needs a second to catch a breath which gives Tina the opportunity to scramble down and retrieve the duvet and lay back under it.

“Why are you naked”  Bette asks still in a bit of daze.

“If you had arrived 5 minutes earlier you would have caught my boyfriend climbing out the window”  Bette can’t see that Tina is smirking under the duvet.

“WHAT”  Bette has snapped out of her daze in an instant.

Tina pokes her head out and is grinning from ear to ear.

“I’m kidding you nut..it was so bloody hot in here last night…..what’s up with you anyway you have seen me naked thousands of times before”  

“Yeah but not since….since..”  Bette sits on the edge of the bed facing away from Tina.

“Yeah that…..”  Tina knows this is another one of those change the subject times “So what’s your crazy idea.

“What….oh that…..maybe it’s not such a good idea after all”

“Come on tell me I have waited….what 11 years for Bette Porter to have a crazy idea and now your not going to tell me”  Tina coaxes

“Are you decent”  Bette asks  

“As decent as I’ll ever be”  

Still keeping her distance Bette turns around.

“Ok…I was thinking….you lea…well you know in 3 days and things have been kinda weird between us since….and we’ve both been kinda miserable…..”  Bette pauses for a second and for the millionth time in the last 8 weeks swallows the lump in the her throat and runs her fingers through her hair.  “ Tina I want you back…..I want us back…..you know the way we were before all this fucked up shit”
