            Kit grabbed the bag that she’d set by the door last night so that she wouldn’t forget it.  She turned and saw Marty coming out of the down stairs bathroom, freshly shaved.

            “Well, this is a huge day!”  She bellowed and Marty stopped dead in his tracks.  He cocked his head to one side and looked hard at her.

            “Meaning?”  She went up to him, putting her long arms around him and kissing him lovingly.  She caressed his cheek, now smooth and free of the usual scruffy beard.

            “You are shaved…”  He threw his head back and laughed, as she walked away tugging him along.

            “Tina!”  Bette yelled standing naked at the closet searching for clothes.  Tina came running from the bathroom, still dripping from her shower.

            “What are you doing?”  Tina asked as she ripped random clothes from the hangers and started putting them on.  Bette still stood there, contemplating what to wear.

            “Bette?”  Tina asked and Bette looked at her and then Tina stood up, yanking a shirt and a pair of black jeans from the closet.

            “Put this on.” 

            “Thanks.”

            “Are you ok?”  Tina asked and watches as Bette nods her head and starts to dress, Tina just made a face and went off to grab the cake in the fridge.  Bette was in an unusual mood as of late; and that gave Tina food for thought.

            Jayden was scrambling around the living room picking up the stray toys as Lara came out of the bedroom.  She stopped and stared at Jayden who was so comfortable with herself in the last few months. 

            “Jay?  Jay?  Sam is going to be here with you know who in like, well now.”  Lara said, as she slipped her feet into a set of slippers and Jayden shot her a look.

            “You look like an old mother hen with those on.”  Lara shot at her with a laugh.

            “You love me in them or out of them or any way you can get me….”  Lara said, lifting up her shirt and flashing Jayden who in turn dashed to her.  She grabbed her and kissed her wantonly, smiling as Lara melted into her arms.
