Thank you, For changing my life. Chapter 40

    Chapter 40

Tina had another glass of wine as she sat there on her sofa, thoughts of her conversation with Shane racing thru her mind.

Tina was now feeling bad, Bette had left 3 messages on her machine sounding worried, asking her to please call her back, and she had at least a dozen missed calls on her cell phone from Bette.

Tina was tired she would call Bette first thing tomorrow morning, she didn’t mean to make Bette worry, but she was just so tired and in truth Tina needed time to sleep on it, she needed time to think about what her next move was going to be. She loved Bette she had no doubt about that but she refused to be in a relationship where her girlfriend could not be honest or share her feelings.

Tina poured herself another glass of wine and headed for her bedroom she would take a quick shower and head straight for bed.

Bette pulled up besides Tina BMW and parked she took a deep breath and went over what she wanted to say to Tina.

“Just tell her what you’re feeling” Bette said to herself as she opened her car door and with determination walked towards Tina’s apartment.

She used her key to get thru the security gate when she reached Tina’s door instead of using her key to get into the apartment she knocked Bette didn’t know how mad Tina was with her or if she would even want to see her, Bette knocked on the door a couple of times there was no answer, rather than knock louder and risk waking up Tina neighbors she decided to use her key to open the door. Bette noticed the apartment was dark she noticed an open bottle of wine on the counter, she instinctively went over put the cork back on the bottle and stuck it back in the fridge.

Bette quietly walked back to Tina’s bedroom and saw Tina sprawled out on the bed on her stomach blonde hair spread out on her pillow, she looked like an angel Bette thought, so peaceful.

Bette sat in a chair and just looked at Tina, part of her wanting to wake her the other part of her just wanted to crawl into bed with her and hold her forever, but sadly Bette knew they had to have this conversation once and for all good or bad ending their relationship or taking them to the next step towards forever.

    1. Now, that would make anyone forget Jodi. Tina knew she had to make Bette relax; and she succeeded. That was great, ILMuzic. I am greedy, when’s the next post. Thanks.
