Shane slowly gets up from the couch and stretches. Walking into the kitchen, she nonchalantly says, “Tina told her how you feel about me.”

“What the fuck? Why would she do something like that?”

“She thought that I already told her,” Shane replies as she pours herself a glass of water. As she takes a bottle of aspirin out of the cupboard, she continues, “I probably should have told her to begin with.” She then takes two aspirin with a swig of water.

“What’s that for?” Jenny asks.

“Hangover.”

“From what?”

“Tequila.”

“How much did you have?”

“I don’t know. I was upset over Molly. I can’t remember.”

“Upset over Molly? I thought Molly was the one that was upset.”

Shane sighs. “She was. When she found out about it, she took off and didn’t come home for hours. I freaked and went to SheBar.”
“Oh Shane,” Jenny says worried. “You didn’t…”

Shane looks at Jenny and firmly says, “I didn’t. I met Tasha and Alice there. I had a few drinks and left. When I got home, Molly was here. And…”

“And you made up on the couch,” Jenny laughs.

Shane smiles. “Yeah, pretty much.”

Jenny takes a long sip of her juice and then says, “Molly knows that I’m not after you, right? That I know you love her and I am just trying to deal with my feelings?”

Shane shrugs.

“Maybe I should talk to her,” Jenny suggests.

“If you want,” Shane says as she walks out of the kitchen.

“Molly?” Shane calls out as she opens the bedroom door. Molly is sitting on the bed, leafing through a travel guide for Hawaii. “You okay?” Shane asks as she closes the door. “Yeah, I’m fine,” she says looking up from the guide. “I just felt awkward talking about our sex life with Jenny given what I just found out.”Shane crawls onto the bed and over to Molly. Laying her head in Molly’s lap, face turned up to look at her, she says, “Look, Jenny’s okay with us being together. She’s dealing with her feelings. She knows that there will never be more than friendship between us.” “It’s still weird, Shane. I feel like we need to censor everything we do now, you know?”“No, we don’t,” Shane says somewhat exasperated. “Yeah, we do. I don’t want to flaunt our relationship in Jenny’s face.”“I don’t either, but I’m not going to hide it either,” Shane says as she sits up. “When I want to kiss you,” she touches her lips to Molly’s, “I will.” She leans in closer and kisses Molly passionately. “When I want to hold you, I will,” she whispers as she crawls towards Molly, forcing Molly to recline. “When I want to tell you ‘I love you,’ I will.” Lying on top of Molly, sliding her hand down her body, she breathlessly says, “And when I want to make love to you, I–…” Molly interrupts her with a slow and languid kiss. She pulls back and whispers, “You will,” smiling devilishly.Shane smiles back and nods her head as she brings her lips to Molly’s again. She moans, “Mmm-hmmm,” as she kisses her. Their kisses become more and more passionate as they begin to make love.
