    Evan takes a dip in the pool, having a great time with Bette.

    Bette is seated at the dining room table, tapping away on her laptop when Tina and Evan walk in.

    “Hey, guys, how did it go?” Bette asks as she stands up and walks over to them.

    “Good, right Evan?” Tina asks, stroking his head softly.

    “Yes.” He replies. “Where is Angie?” He asks.

    “She’s taking a nap.” Bette says.

    “Can I borrow her toys?” He asks looking up at them.

    “Off course you can. Here, let’s take this off.” Tina says and unbuttons his jacket. He then runs over to the corner where the toys are.

    “So how was he today?” Bette asks, putting her arm around Tina’s shoulder and guide her into the kitchen.

    “He’s getting better, every day, the doctor says. He really wants to take care of Evan, get to know him, be a father to him.” Tina says.

    “That’s good. Martin’s a good guy… I saw him with you, it broke my heart every time, I didn’t want to like him. But I always saw what a kind man he is. I knew you wouldn’t be with him if he was a bad man.” Bette says as she takes a seat by the table, Tina taking a seat next to her.

    “Yeah… He told me a few weeks before I broke it off with him, that his biggest dream was to become a father. All though that plan included me at the time, he will do great on his own. I saw him with Angel. He has it in him. Evan will be in good hands.

    Bette leans in for a kiss.

    “I love you.” She whispers. “You want coffee?” She asks as she stands up and walks over to the counter.

    “Yes, please.” Tina replies and smiles as her eyes follow Bette to the coffee. “So, what did you two do today?” Tina asks.

    “We just hung out. Played a little. She fell tired pretty soon. She fell asleep on the chair. I think she might be coming down with something. A few kids at the day care were starting to get sick the other day. She might’ve caught that.” Bette suggests.

    “Yeah, maybe. I’ll go and check on her, I’ll be right back.” Tina says and walks into the bedroom. She put her hand on Angelica’s forehead. “Oh baby, you’re burning up.” Tina says and lifts her up. That wakes Angelica up and she starts to cry.

    1. It is obvious that Bette and Tina care deeply for Evan. Its going to be impossibly hard for them to be apart for 2 months and even harder if Evan has to go and stay with Martin. Personally, I’d like to see all of them together living the good life in London.

    9. Thank you for the post. I was feeling a little down and this story perked me up. I don’t want anything to happen to Martin but Evan would be a great addition to the Kennard-Porter family. I hope that Angel will get better and that the move goes well and they can be a family again in London.

    12. I still have a feeling something will happen to Martin and Evan will become part of their family (I’m not wishing it but fan fic always brings us surprises)
