    At the doctors…

    Chapter 211

     

    Tina took time off from work for the next two days. Since Bette didn’t have any chance to see now. Julia came and took the boys to pre-school, so Tina wouldn’t have to take the whole family out. Angelica stayed home. But now it was time to find out if the procedure had worked or not. They had to bring Angelica. Inside they were seated in the waiting room. Bette holding on to Tina nervously. Angelica sat on Tina’s lap. A nurse comes out.

    “Ms. Bette Porter Kennard.” She says.

    “Yes, that’s us.” Tina says and stands up.

    “Dr. Casper is ready to see you now.” The nurse says.

    “Okay, thank you.” Tina says and they walk into his office.

    “Hello… oh who’s this?” He asks as he takes Angelica’s hand and smiles.

    “This is our daughter, Angelica.” Tina says and smiles back.

    “She’s adorable.” He says.

    “Yes she is.” Bette replies.

    “So, shall we just get to it? No need to beat around the bush here.” Dr. Casper says.

    “No.” Bette says.

    “Have you had any problems? Pain, been uncomfortable maybe?” Dr. Casper asks.

    “No, nothing.” Bette says.

    “That’s good. Come on, let’s get into the other room.” Dr. Casper says and stands up and walks into the examination room. They follow behind him. “Ms. Bette, you can take a seat right here.” Dr. Casper says and guides her to the bed. Tina set Angelica down next to Bette While she herself stood right behind Dr. Casper so that Bette would look at her when the bandages was off. “Okay, here we go.” He says.

    He starts taking off the bandages on the right eye first. “Keep it closed until I tell you not to.” He says. He continues with the left eye. He then clean the area around the eyes. “Okay, I’m gonna turn off the lights.” He says and stands up. He turns off the lights, so it wouldn’t be so bright. And walked back.

    “Okay, come on, open your eyes, slowly.” He says. Tina reaches out and takes Bette’s hand in hers. Bette slowly opens her eyes, she winks a lot of times, adjusting to the light. Tina’s holding her breath, waiting for the beautiful brown eyes look at her again.

Like even though they have been through so much, almost like about ten family drama’s combined! ahaha, But I still keep reading, coz it’s a cool story! … Now that Bette can see, ya think for a while, the family can be Ok, no worries, no problems, no hospitals, just happy times Now? lol

OMG Lauren you freaked me out with the second sentence of this chapter “Since Bette didn’t have any chance to see now.” – I immediately went back thinking I missed something, but then contemplated that maybe, just maybe it was a type-o…thank goodness it was. I don’t think I could have been able to take it! I love this story and this was an excellent chapter! More please!

    6. Yeah, Bette can see. To be able to look into one’s family members face is something that most of us take for granted. Thanks for reminding us of how much we really do have and to be thankful for that.

    9. lol – the ‘one’ who dont like it thinks tis is the most inconsistent and no plot story and the only reason that i put up with the torture to read it is to see what more tragedies u are going to inflict on this family – now that B can see – mayb you desire to put Tina ano round of suffering by mayb making her lose one of her ‘limbs’ – you are definitely the Queen of sorrows and torture in fanfic because it does not make sense to put this family in every chapter tragedy after another…when are they ever going to have happy times – i dont think so – coz u dont believe in happy times for this family :(

    10. oh btw i do read ur other story ‘realising’ and actually i truly like them coz that story has a smooth flow and consistency. its this story like ano fanfic author i know – that u and her likes to harp on sorrows on every other chapter after a happy episode. its like u guys just dont want these ppl to b happy :( –

Everyday life in real life is a bitch I will admit Tina and Bette has had theres in Fiction Land but they have a house full of kids anf themself so a lot can go on fron bad to good and good to bad, Ask someone with five kids and the tales they can tell is so funny and horrible. Love this thanks for giving us your time energy and all the effort that goes into writing a story. thanks
