Out of Closet (B&T time-travel romance), Ch. 35
“We got it, Alice…no other explanation is needed but let me warn you, the furniture in there is similar but is not the same,” Tina said, shaking her head.
“Oh, I don’t mind, as long as it has a huge bed,” Alice said with a mischievous smile.
“Alice, you can have my parent’s bedroom,” Bette laughed, “And I want to stay in mine. Tee, would it be alright with you?”
“Of course, Bette…before Alice and you showed up, I became quite familiar with your bedroom. The funny thing is…when Kit showed me the mansion for the first time I felt your presence in that room. When we began renovations and the house became more or less presentable for living, I slept in your bedroom every night I stayed here. I felt your spirit there so strong, baby. Isn’t it weird?”
“No, not at all,” Bette replied tearfully, hugging Tina tight, “but it confirmed for me once again that we were meant for each other.”
When they finally settled, Tina had to go on set to have a meeting with the production team to discuss their schedule, put together technical teams and discuss the actors that were contacted to appear in the documentary.
While Tina was gone, Bette and Alice went through the house to see if the renovations did transform the Porter mansion back to its original form.
“Amazing,” Bette said to Alice when they went through her art studio to the garden. “I feel like I’m actually back and any minute I expect to see my mother or Katie or…Christina,” she finished after a slight pause.
“How does it make you feel?” Alice asked sympathetically.
“Surreal,” Bette replied quietly, “I know that my heart doesn’t belong to me anymore because I gave it to Tina completely and truly…but being here makes me feel confused and torn between my past and my future. It’s like I gave my heart away but I don’t know who has it.”
Alice looked at Bette with a frown and asked, “Are you saying that you still love Christina?”
Bette nodded, while seating down on the chair inside the pavilion that used to be her favorite place to rest.

I really enjoy your story. And I finally caught up with the other story of yours, you are a brilliant writer! Thanks for the update. :)
Oh boy, the longer Tina waits to tell Bette the worse it will be when she does. I can totally understand why Bette is having confused feelings…it’s because she really is in between 2 worlds…the one she grew up in and the one that she has come to know now. Neither world will be the same…knowing what the future holds changes the old world that she is from and living in the new world missing (grieving really) the loss of everyone she new in the old. It’s hard…I hope Tina really recognizes that. Great job B&TF…I love this story!
They need to talk and hope Tina will tell Bette soon. Please post more, thanks!
Tina should have told her before making love to Bette the first time. :) I know drama :) but it’s going to bite her in the butt big time.
Oh man this story just gets better! They both have so much to talk about! Hopefully they’ll get to it sooner than later. Thanks for the update
I love this story! :o) (But I can’t be freed from the thought that Bette belong to Christina. Why?)
Poor Bette, Christina or Tina, Christina or Tina. A hard choice but in reality it is Christina who is apart of Tina, so I say pick Tina. Besides Christina is married and well Tina is single and madly in love with Bette.
