    Chapter 30, Part 3: Love is all that I can give to you, love is more than just a game for two (Shane and Alice talk to Tina and Bette…will anyone listen?)

    (Previously) Tina sat down on the couch in the living room and began crying in frustration, “Bette, I’m so sorry, oh…I’m so sorry, baby.” She stayed like that for some time and then went to the bedroom and crawled into their bed, crying herself to sleep.

    A few hours later Tina waked up with a jolt and called Shane, after unsuccessfully trying Alice’s cell again. Shane didn’t hear from either Bette or Alice and also couldn’t get a hold of them.

    “Should I go to Alice’s house?” Tina asked, hoping that Shane could answer all her questions and take away all her fears.

    “I think you have to let Bette figure things out for herself, Tina. What if she’s not with Alice? You would just make another person worry. I’m sure Bette is fine.”

    “Shane, I think I just royally fucked up and lost the one person I ever loved with all my heart and soul.”

    Bette went to the kitchen where she noticed an electronic clock that was clearly displaying – Saturday, November 26, 7:05 am.

    “What the fuck?” Bette screamed in frustration and ran out of the house. She hailed a taxi and was on the way home, desperately trying to figure out what was happening. She arrived home and hurried to the bedroom, only finding it cold and empty. The room began spinning around and Bette slid down to the floor with fog in her head and hot stream of tears on her face.

    ‘She left me, she left me, she left me,” Bette kept repeating the most depressing mantra ever. She stayed like that for almost an hour when her exhausted body and soul finally gave up and she fell asleep on the bedroom floor.

    Year: Nov. 26, 2005 – Saturday, 3 am

     

    “Shane, I think I just royally fucked up and lost the one person I ever loved with all my heart and soul,” Tina said through another eruption of tears.

    1. Wow…I wasn’t expectibng this update tonight…thank you B&TF! This was really good..Bette and Tina explaining their feeling for each other. But…Bette still doesn’t know Christina is alive in 1885…Tina needs to tell her otherwise I’m thinking it will be a source of drama somewhere down the road. Oh wait…maybe it’s supposed to be. Anyway, I love this story…it’s fun, it’s imaginative and you are telling it well. Can’t wait for your next update!

My internet connection keeps disappearing so if you get more than one comment from me, pick the one you like the best. :-) I’m so happy to have gotten another chapter so soon, and I’m so happy, both for Bette and Tina and for myself, that those alternative realities were just dreams. Yikes!! Altenate versions of this story would have been great but they would have had me so enthralled that I would have needed to keep notes. I am so happy that Bete felt that she could finally tell Tina that she loved her. I am very much looking forward to the next chapter because I have great faith that it will be wonderful, loving and, of course, sexy

For a moment, I thought that Bette would wake up again, but this time on Friday morning, and would re-live the night at Milk, but this time making it right, sending Candace to hell, and stopping Tina from dancing with Helena… But this is even better, and besides, it is true that sometimes the most painful ordeals lead to the happiest outcomes… Thanks for a beautiful (and very looked forward to) chapter, and PPS! K ;)
