My Love, My life, My Soul…My Forever Ch. 5
A sudden chill shot up Tina spine. Dana. A thought she couldn’t dwell on any longer. She cleared her head of her friend and pondered once again about that night….the questions, the answers….the questions.
She remembered how the detective distinctively asked her if Bette was her first and how her body has stiffened instantly. She couldn’t lie and so she told the detective the truth about her relationship with girls.
At that thought, Tina began to tear up and she shook her head trying to clear the thought from it. She looked down at the ring that she was given just a few hours ago. She smiled widely at it. She couldn’t tell Bette the truth…it would hurt her so badly. She had made sure everyone believe Bette was her first…that’s how she wanted it to be. She hated that the first time was with her own older sister – three years of feeling pressured into playing the guy role for her sister’s own insane fantasies.
Tina dropped her head in her hands and brushed her hair back with her fingers and tears fell onto her now slightly flushed cheek.
"How do I tell her that?" she asked the wind through the window pane. "How do I tell her that I’ve been lying to her? I wish I could just go back and change it. Erase it completely. Fuck, I can’t even justify it. What’s wrong with me?" Tina shamed herself with her own words.
She couldn’t believe how much she opened up to a stranger. She told Jenny some of this…Jenny always had a way of being so accepting of everyone’s faults when it was just her stripped from the community and other distractions around her. Tina has an intense dislike for Jenny, but she wished she had her to talk to now. She was so confused and didn’t know what to do. She wanted to tell Bette…she had wanted to tell Bette everything, especially from her interrogation/confession, but she couldn’t bring herself to tear apart the woman she held so dear.
But, what if she didn’t tell Bette and Bette went to find her sister? Bette knew that Tina and her sister didn’t talk, but she never really knew why. Bette knew that her sister was the only family Tina really had left – her father has been completely disconnected for over 20 years and her mother died right after she finished college.

I like the story; it has a ring of real
Fave parts? The moment when Tina has a devlish grin on her angelic face while she has Bette pinned down. There’s more but then I’d be reposting your story in the comments section and that would plagiarism. I loved everything about it. Thank you for this post and I hope Tina doesn’t worry too much about Bette’s reaction and has faith in their love. I just went Harlequin Romance on you, my bad :)
Thank you for doing a post-S6 story. I think many fanfic authors have shied away from writing one because of S6 and the interrogation tapes. I don’t know why though, because IMO TLW stopped making sense post-S1, and if the fans had tried to make sense of S2 and S3 through fanfic, I don’t see why they can’t do the same for S6 and the interrogation tapes. Anyway. I believe that Bette and Tina are going to make it, whatever happens. I mean, Jenny gave her word that they would before she off-ed herself in 608. Er. IC was not qualified to write the Bette and Tina story, because she’s an incorrigible prankster. But you, you are not mad like IC, and you believe in love, so you are fit to write their story. Hooray for love, right? :D
Still loving this story!!! Maybe Tina needs to speak to someone else first like a pro. Then talk to Bette. Great Chapter!!! Thank you PPS
Bette and Tina’s love has endured much and their relationship has grown stronger and healthier because of it. It is never easy to talk about child abuse especially incest, some will never talk about their painful experiences. I hope Tina will confide in Bette because Bette is the only one who can comfort and support her. Bette will always be her first, last and forever love.20 years is a long time. Who knows…perhaps Tina’s sister regrets her past actions. It will be great to see Tina get closure and be reunited with her sister. I’m a sucker for happy endings.
That was great and love it. Tina need to go see therapy to talk about her past with her sister and then tell Bette al about it. Please post more, thanks!
I agree with rubber dukie.I hated the interrogation tabes, but I like your story.
My fav parts were all of it. Excellent update. I hope Tina tells Bette. Thank you again.
