Sharon: “Are you going to tell me what you have been hiding all this time?”
Louise: “I did because I wasn’t sure if it was safe and if it would work, but I never intended to do things behind your back, I ju…”
Sharon: “shush, is okay, don’t say anything else, I know how protective you are…, and this is one of the things that made me fall in love with you”
The women hugged each other for a while, then they kissed, Louise was overwhelmed and her eyes are glassy, Sharon broke the silence.
Sharon: “tell me, you made it, right?”
Louise: “yes, I discovered what made the girls change; they let their emotions be, without restraints, without regrets, without guilt their youth, inexperience, and in certain way ‘innocence’ help them to achieve this state, the need for protecting someone very valuable for them made the appropriate combination of chemicals in their bodies along with the presence of especial magnetic fields, produced the so far irreversible changes that we have noticed, and there is no doubt for me that they would keep changing for good”
Sharon: “is there any side effect?”
Louise: “not that I know”
Sharon: “Do Bette and Tina know about your findings?”
Louise: (sighing) “No, and it’s breaking my heart what I’m finding”
Sharon: “what do you mean?”
Louise: “Tina is again hiding things from me; she bought a lot of electronic equipment, simulators, vacuum systems, even a portable supercomputer almost as powerful as mine; I don’t know what I did wrong, why she doesn’t trust me”
Sharon: “she loves and admires you a lot, maybe she wants to make you proud or she wants to prove something, maybe she needs money”
Louise: “she has all my money, she even has her own money for her former antics, I didn’t take her earnings from her illicit busyness and she has all Kristen’s inheritance and everything is in an account where she could get all the money that wanted; but anyway, I will eventually find out what is going on with her. Now we have to focus on making you and Angus change”
After fixing coffee, juice, and some midmorning snacks, Louise slept on her fiancé presence to split herself and check on Angus a couple of minutes later she woke up telling her partner that Angus was around the corner coming to them. When the three of them gathered, Louise explained to them how she found the way to activate her hidden genes and she told them about her new skills; they made a plan on how to achieve what Louise has and they decided to try the emotional change during the week and the magnetic fields radiation during the weekend at Louise house.

And Melvin a asexual man, in this case you can’t speak; like father and daughter. Bette is contrary to her father, a very sexual woman.

Yes, I better would say respect Bette like mother like daughter; she inherited all her sexual drive, protectiveness, and intelligence from Maxine; her shyness, her ability to ‘change’ and being different from Melvin. Louise has to address and fix her relationship with Tina for the first and last time, otherwise, they would drive apart. Thanks so much for reading and commenting, I hope to update soon.

You may be right, about emotions and feelings but I was talking about emotions = feelings + sensations, indeed I was referring to the fact that hormones are mysterious sets of chemicals that could be released sometimes for effect of emotions or feelings or sensations, for example, if you are afraid of something, your body starts releasing hormones, if you are happy, your body releases other types of hormones, sometimes strong emotions force you to release many different hormones and in very different quantities; the role of hormones is to generate responses to face the danger, pleasure or whatever situation you are living. Now, the production of hormones is linked to the activity of enzymes that are certain type of proteins that acts as factories of hormones, and if the last ones are not enough, the ‘stress’ of the situation (emotion, feeling or sensation), forces the productions of more enzymes or through alternative mechanisms, producing same or different proteins to supply the adequate amount of hormones. The production of proteins is codified in DNA, and it is the RNA the one in charge to execute the ‘order’ coming from the DNA. It is known that we have ‘parts’ in our DNA that have not codification (or it is unknown) for genes, what I am assuming here (and that is part of the fantasy) is that those unknown regions in our DNA, have genes that usually don’t express (they don’t form proteins, or don’t have apparent function), they have existed since a long time ago as ‘mutations’ (indeed hidden mutations); I also assume that all our ‘inner demons’ are blocking emotions, feelings, and sensations, then they are blocking the production of certain hormones and then blocking any alternative mechanism of production of enzymes, so the hidden genes are repressed. So, this is why Louise has to ‘release’, to face her demons (to free her tormented soul) to be able to activate those hidden genes and then after exposing herself to the magnetic fields, she could achieve the ‘change’. About to tell Tina and Bette the truth, this is something Louise has been thinking since chapter 1, she wanted the two girls to be friends in order to slowly talk to them about their mothers, but things didn’t happen as she expected, the two girls, instead, fell in love. Louise has to fix things with Tina, and also with Bette.
