I looked up when I heard the lock turn; I was so engrossed with my reading that I hadn’t realized that it was already a little past midnight.
Tina walked in with a wide grin plastered on her face, “Baby!” she said as she wrapped me in a hug, “I have the most amazing news.”
I kissed her cheek which was still cold from the night air; her excitement seemed to emanate from inside her. She was glowing.
“What is it?” I asked.
“I have just clinched the most amazing deal in the history of my life,” she exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with such delight, “Warner Studios is going to do a collaboration with Universal Studios and Disney and guess who’s going to be the main project coordinator?”
I laughed, “Who I wonder,” I replied, wrapping my arms around her tightly.
“Me!” she said, “I can’t believe it, B! This is going to be my big break!”
“I’m so proud of you,” I told her, kissing her sweet lips, “I know this is what you’ve been waiting for.”
“Babe,” she said, her eyes becoming slightly downcast, “This might mean that we won’t have as much time together as before…”
“Well,” I replied, “I’m not going to say that I’m completely ok with that, but I’ll be happy enough to have you to come home to.”
She smiled at me, “Thank you for understanding, baby,” she said, “So, how should we celebrate?”
“Hmmm, what time will you get home tomorrow?”
“I should be home early,” she told me, reaching for her Blackberry to check her schedule, “What do you have in mind?”
“Just be home early, alright?” I said, the gears in my mind turning, thinking of the perfect way to celebrate this moment for her.
“What is it?” she probed, as she grabbed onto my waist, “Tell me.”
I grinned, “Just be home early tomorrow.”

Eunichick, I wouldn’t say predictable!! I love your stories as well as Belena, its just that I have a soft spot in my heart for Tasha and if she must get kicked to the curb, I don’t want her to get hurt to bad. Anyway, great chapter!!PPS
Hey E another great chapter. Tasha is actuAlly a. Dry. All woman and well Helena is not she is too passionate. I actually am liking Tash on this story and it was awesome for Tina to get a big break, but that means away time from Bette and that is not a good sign. Anyway,loved it!
They are gonna meet in Singapore, they are gonna meet in Singapore…it’s getting going! I definitely think Tash seems like a child and Helena the parent in this, and Tash’s I’m sorrys evntually aren’t going to be enough. I would want a partner who is an adult and takes responsibility also. I don’t care what happens to Tina, she can go off and make her movies, I just want Bette and Helena to get together. NOW, I must say that a rider for a Chihuahua must be very tiny indeed. I don’t know where they would find a saddle for him, but where there is a will, there is a way. JUSTIN..I have seen Sliding Doors several times, or what I refer to as smart, sort of, Gwyneth and lobotomized Gwyneth..can I be of any help?

something im looking forward to how weird is this i felt like crap earlier but am feeling better now its time for bed on my side of the world. So Bette and Helena will meet oh yes *better than a photograph*, so Tash and Helena never really have an arguement that cant be a healthy relationship arguing makes your relationship stronger. what has Bette got planned for Tina.Always reading, and in awe of your abilities. Hmmm….it is definitely getting interesting. As much as I love Belena…I know that “entertaining attractions” can cause so much pain in relationships…and how easy it is to get pulled by curiosity…However, I know this connection is feeling inevitable for our girls…but I don’t suspect it will be pretty. Please, please give Tasha some backbone and character…and if at all possible, at least connect her with some one smart, funny and pretty… :) Ok, now that I’m done with my wish list, feel free to continue weaving your tale as planned… :) PPS!
I like Tasha. She doesn’t seem like a child. Helena was hysterical. WTF Tasha fixed the problem with a simple phone call…..”I didn’t know what troubled me more, the fact that we never actually had a real argument before, or that she was always the giving party when we had a disagreement.” THis sounds like a keeper to me. I love Belena but I don’t want to see nice partners hurt. DONT DO IT!!!! I can’t believe I’m saying that…
