    Meet Me In Montauk; #02

I watched her walk away and I glanced back down at the newsletter, surprisingly intrigued by this mysterious stranger. I gave myself a mental shake, and walked back to my office.

Maybe I’ll just read the article later.

    Hi Helena,

One of our regular guests, Mr. John Bennett, will be going to Melbourne for a week and has requested to stay at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne. I hope that you will be able to take care of him while he stays there.

I am forwarding you his rider. The rider contains some particular items Mr. Bennett usually requests for his room including lavender aromatherapy candles and freshly toasted almonds. Please ensure that everything in the rider is followed accordingly.

Apologies for the inconvenience, but Mr. Bennett is a very valued guest at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza.

I saw your profile in the newsletter this month. Great job at the interview. Nice to put a face to the name.

    Hi Bette,

No worries, I will ensure my staff will take care of Mr. Bennett while he stays with us at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne. Thank you for forwarding me the rider for reference.

Thanks for your kind words about the interview. I hate to say this but I was forced to do it. The photograph was horrid!

    Helena

“Babe?” I called out as I unlocked the door of our house and walked inside. The only source of light came from the upstairs bathroom; the rest of the house was pitch dark.

“Tash?” I called out again, as I turned on the lights in the living room.

I hung up my coat and slowly walked upstairs to our bedroom; I found Tash curled up under the quilt. I walked over to her, pushing the blanket aside and dropping a kiss on her forehead. She stirred and opened her eyes, giving me a small smile, “Hey you,” she said, her voice still rough with sleep, “What time did you get back?”

    1. I have been kind of following this, but now I am having great hope that Bette and Helena are going to get together…my heart leaps with joy! I love love love Bette/Helena fics. Gimme a Bette! Gimme a Helena! Gimme a Bette and Helena! ok, a little much? Sorry… but I do think that this is a great fic, and please write more soon.

    2. I’m liking this and this is how a friendly association can get you into troble. Bette sees Helena’s pic and compliment her on how lovely she is….now Helena wants a pic of Bette so she can put name to face and no doubt she will like what she sees. Will they ever sees one another in person or will this be one of those cyber infatuation? Either way I’m sure it will be good. pps

    3. Woooooo hoooooo I have been waiting all day for these you know… two hours is a long time to wait for your masterpieces and before you say it yeah yeah yeah ‘ice cream’ I know… LOL… I love how you have created such distinct personalities for all of these characters… and that banter between Bette and Lara is perfect… all is not well in paradise for both these couples as you can sense underlying tensions… you keep kicking my ass all over the place cuz… love ya, JC (Latin Nephew to those salsa Angels and your proud loving cuzzie)

    4. E this story is quite interesting, and would have never thought of having Tasha and Helena as a couple. This kinda reminds me about that movie of Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan think it was called you got mail, not sure,,hehehe. But I am enjoying reading it

    5. Wow…1st again! I’m definitely liking this…but because of the heat that is Belena…I’m afraid the always kind and lovely Tasha is gonna be curb city again…sigh. The good thing is that I love your writing and the stories you tell…so don’t make it hurt too much! lol! PPS
