Roxy – Sweet dreams, my love…
She went back to her room. A couple hours later, Dana got up to see where Alice was. She was where she figured she’d be… on the couch. Dana pulled the blanket back up to her shoulders, giving her a light kiss on the lips. Alice was murmuring in her sleep….. Roxy. Dana couldn’t make out what Alice was saying but hearing Roxy’s name stuck. It didn’t matter in what context she said it…. it felt like Alice had reached in a ripped her heart out of her chest. Dana went back to her room and cried.
The next morning…
Alice was the first to wake this morning. Sleeping on the couch wasn’t a very comfortable experience. At least she slept in her clothes. She’d change them of course but at least she didn’t need help with the bra…seeing as she was already wearing it. Alice wanted to shower, but she would have to settle for a sponge bath. No one was going to help her dress this morning. When Alice was cleaning herself up, she noticed the small hickey on her breast. Roxy had left her mark. Fuck…what was I thinking. If Dana saw that she would come unglued. She tried to put a little makeup to cover it up, but that only made it stand out more.
Roxy got up and did her usual routine… making the coffee. She went back to her room to get dressed. Alice was planning on going to work this morning and she wanted to be ready to go with her.
Alice snuck into the bedroom to get a change of clothes. Not wanting to wake Dana. She looked awfully haggard this morning…. almost like she had been crying most of the night. It tugged at her, but not enough to want to wake Dana and talk to her. All the feelings were still a little too raw. She got her clothes and changed in the bathroom.
Roxy got the silent treatment as well. She tried to get Alice to talk to her, but it was useless. They left together but in separate vehicles. Roxy kept Alice in her sight all day, but left her alone.
When Dana finally woke… it was her that had the headache and her eyes burned from the crying. She dragged her butt out of bed and went into the bathroom to brush her teeth. Next, putting eyedrops in her red eyes… she didn’t want Alice to know she had been crying. Imagine Dana’s surprise when Alice wasn’t there… neither was Roxy. Kristin was there instead.

Great Update! Roxy was right about them stopping because of her hesitation. How long can Alice hold her off?
So yes, as you said, this chapter had allot of drama and crap in it but I appreciate the bit of hope you give us in the last paragraph. I know that once the truth comes out Dana will be upset with Alice but in the end they’ll be together. I just hate that Roxy keeps toying with Alice- especially when she’s vulnerable. I’m glad Alice is determined to show Dana how much she means to her but Alice needs to tell Dana the truth soon. You have me curious as to what the hell’s up with Lara’s body (or missing body as the case may be)…I’m still waiting for Dana to get better and for the scorching hot sex to be had ;) Great job as usual and thanks for the comment! Can’t wait till the update…
Wow I grovel at your feet, this will be the third time I’ve read this chapter and I can’t not love it. I tried and failed miserably, Alice needs to get her ass in gear and tell Dana, things are only going to get worse and when the shit hits the fan, they better have a good cleaning lady. I loved the shopping scene, and all the bickering, man Alice you have it hard you’ve got Dana Tony Gina and Roxy all dying to be with you the stress must be otherwordly. Meanwhile I can’t get a glance but that’s ok…whatever. Anyway great chapter again (but you don’t need me to tell you that for you to know it’s amazing). Update soon (but I’ll keep on you and make sure it happens) :)

Thank you for your sweet comment. :D You got me worried there… When I didn’t find an update of this story in the last couple of days, I thought you left me! :P As long as you keep writing this wonderful story (I can’t believe it’s the 40th chapter either!), I’ll keep commenting. :D I’m really curious what’s in that clock. Time will tell, I will try to wait patiently… :S A lot of fighting this chapter. The tension (in all of its meaning) is still building up, nice. :)Poor Dana tough (actually poor all of them), I wonder how she will react when she hears the whole truth. Roxy’s plans to win Alice over always seem to backfire on her in the end, don’t they? :D As you probably can guess, Roxy’s plans are working for me, because they get Alice more drawn to Dana. When did Sharon Fairbanks become so nice and supportive? I think it’s sweet that Alice called her out of concern for Dana. And I justed wanted to say that – in my opinion – the doctor can give Dana an OK (on Dana being healed) in the near future. If the doctor doesn’t want to, they can come to me. I mean if that’s the only thing that’s standing in the way of hot Danish love making, I can pretend to have a medical background and give Dana an OK. :P
Here’s my happy ending…The mob starts gunning for Roxy, The FBI kicks her out for misconduct, she now must fend for herself. Shane catches wind of all this Roxy crap and has some of her old street pals rough her up. Soon the mob catches up to Roxy and she is sleepin’ with the fishes. Dana and Alice confess all of their sins and live happily ever after.

Drama, drama, drama…I loved every bit of it. Roxy is a piece of work but she doesn’t seem te be getting closer to Alice as she wants. That’s a good thing though. I think that Dana hates Roxy as much as I do. Loved Kirstens part in it and cannot wait to find out what happened to Lara’s body!! And Sharon to the rescue, who knew! Go Sharon, make your daughter see the light. Hope Alice tells Dana the truth about her and Roxy just to get that over with. Brteyes you had me for 13 pages and I’m counting the days for the next update. Thanks your great!
