Alice – Oh yeah… sorry.
Roxy – Don’t worry about me….. I’ll celebrate when this case is closed. You may as well enjoy yourself tonight, because I don’t want you to touch a drop tomorrow. We have much to cover.
Alice groans.
She takes a couple swallows of the wine. Roxy wondered how well Alice handled her liquor. For the most part, Alice seemed relaxed but the stress had to be getting to her. She had already been to hell and back…… and now she was facing another demon, Tony. That was enough to make Roxy want a drink herself.
Talking with Alice had a positive effect on Roxy. Alice had so many special gifts, one of them being…. her ability to make others laugh. When Roxy wasn’t working, she was a lot of fun. Unfortunately, she was working all the time lately. A vacation was what she needed…… and sex, lots of sex.
When the pizza came, the girls sat down on the couch and watched a movie while eating. Alice continued to fill her glass with more wine. Roxy had no idea how much she had but it was enough to light her up…. but not too much as to make her drunk.
Roxy – When does Dana get out of the hospital?
Alice – I don’t know. That reminds me, I told Dana that I would call her.
Roxy – You’re not going to call her this late, are you? I’m sure she’s sleeping.
Alice – I’m sure she’ll want to hear from me.
Roxy – Alice, you can see her tomorrow. She’s still recovering…. let her sleep while she can. When we move into her house, I’m sure you’ll be keeping her up at all hours.
Alice blushes.
Alice – I guess you’re right. I’ll see her tomorrow.
Roxy – We’ll see her in the morning. Then for the rest of the day, your mine. We have to figure out the whole deal with the funeral.
Alice – I have a really bad feeling about the funeral. Why do I feel like I’m going to my own?
Roxy – I know you feel helpless but try not to let the situation intimidate you. I’ll be there….. I won’t let anything happen to you. Trust me.

Great update, as usual. Please keep the Danish alive…after tonight, some of us will need fan fic more than ever. I love your story.
Roxy’s starting to scare me. lol I agree with discorange. Thank you for keeping danish alive. As long as you are willing to grace us with danish stories, I will read and comment. At least the best, most tender and fun couple on the show can continue in fanfiction.
Almost a second round for Alice and Roxy between the sheets huh….well saved by the bell. :D I hope Dana gets home soon, so she can be the one who’s holding Alice in her arms for the night. And who was that outside the house? I’m guessing that person will also be at the funeral? :)

hey girly, great update. roxy is falling for alice….why must she complicate the already difficult situation? can’t wait for dana to get out of the hospital. i can totally imagine all the tension and jealousy b/n roxy and dana, lol. i bet the person outside al’s window was lara’s bro. right? when u write the sequel, i’ll jump in for the ride. i’m not going anywhere. i got hooked to this story and ur writing style from chapter 1. u’re looking for inspiration…hmmm, maybe at the funeral tony will defend alice when the gambino family blames her for gina’s death? or whatever.
i think that the show has made me not enjoy fanfiction anymore….i wasnt into any stories today but it was well written..(sighs) i just dont know.
Great update! I need my Danish though…especially after tonight’s episode. :( Bring Dana home so she can be the one holding Alice. The funeral should be interesting. Update soon!
ooooh the drama. well done, i’m loving it. Haha i haven’t even watched the latest episode of the l word and already i feel like we’ve all lost one of the best couples that will ever grace our screens. Alas. But anyway thank you for your fic, it’s the little light at the end of the seemingly dark tunnel.

Great chapter, but Roxy is crossing the line here. Hope Dana gets out of the hospital soon to be with Alice and watch over her. Thanks a lot for keeping Danish alive, I will read as long as you write. Looking forward to the next update.
Roxy is being totally unprofessional with her action ! If Dana is someone she really cares for as a friend wouldn’t Alice be off limits ? Just saying.. P.S. loving the story, just a little frustrated with the Roxy/Alice storyline… Please bring Dana Home soon lol…
