    The Video Tape…

    BETTE:  Yeah.  Dana, can you watch the grill for a minute?

    DANA:  Sure.

    (Bette and Tina walk into the house just as Alice and Shane comes out of the pool.  Alice and Shane walk over by Dana each taking an arm, pulling)

    DANA:  Come on guys.  No!

    ALICE & SHANE:  Yes!

    (Alice and Shane pick Dana up, throws her in the pool, and jump in behind her.  Bette and Tina walk out with all the food set out on the table)

    BETTE:  Did you know that was going to happen?

    TINA:  Of course!  You do know if we had stayed out here, we would be in there to right?

    BETTE:  (taking the last of the meat off the grill) Oh really?

    TINA:  Yeah!  You don’t think for a second that they would have grabbed us and drug us out there?

    BETTE:  (hugging Tina) No!  Not them!  (giving Tina a kiss)  But I would!

    (Bette picked Tina up and walked her to the edge of the pool.)

    TINA:  Not without a fight you don’t!  If I go, you go! (both of them falling in the pool.)

    KIT:  (Laughing) Lord have mercy!

    (Kit grabbed her water, plate of bar-b-qued ribs, baked beans, potato salad, and rolls, and sat on the lounge chair by the pool.)

    KIT:  You know this food is really too good to let go to waste!

    (Everybody turned to look at Kit eating.)

    TINA:  Oh Yeah!  Help yourselves!  It’s done!

    (Shane, Alice, and Dana run out of the pool as fast as possible.  Tina kisses Bette as Bette walks them to the steps of the pool.)

    DANA:  Everything looks and smells so good!

    SHANE:  It IS good! (licking her fingers clean raising her eyebrows up and down)

    DANA:  O.K.  Guys, I’m going to cut this thing off for a while.

    ALICE:  Good.  Now, come eat!

    (tape goes snowy)

    "That was one fun bar-b-que!" Bette said drying the tears from laughing so hard.

    "It sure was!  You know, Kit was the only one that didn’t get wet?" Tina replied.

    "Oh yes she did!  Don’t you remember?" Bette asked.  "Shane and I was going to grab her and throw her in, but she jumped in, because she didn’t want to get her hair wet?"

    "So, that’s why she left so early!" Tina exclaimed.

    3. Wow this was good…um…a little spooky if nothing else follows that statement, but I love this story. Hopefully Bette will stay and talk, where is she off to? The kids are staying over right? Does Bette have someone waiting for her? Please post soon.

    5. This is a great story. I think it eerie that Dana says “stop fighting” and they both stop to listen to the tape. Now, if they could only start listening to each other ? Maybe that will be your next chapter.

    6. this is a great story of them finding each other again with kids adds to the bonus part but its a little weird what danas has said but hopefully they will listen to her.please soon not soooooo long of absent next time.

    7. I miss Dana and the rest of the gang too. Why did what’s her face screw with the best gang in the world? Dana always knew how to get people to listen even if it was in her goofy way. That was emotional chapter but nice to see the girls when life was about friends and lovers.

    9. Geez Bette! It takes Dana breaking through an alternate dimension to try to get you to stay and talk to T! Why is it so hard? Listen to your kids…sit down and talk and then live life in the present day! Great story Sue! Can’t wait for more!
