Life with Mom and Tina Ch 72

    Previously:

"I’m in. All in. Whatever you need from me you got it." Jess said. Shannon looked at her.

"So I can ask you anything I want to." She asked.

    "Yes." Jess said.

Shannon hugged Jess tightly. They separated and smiled at each other.

    Wednesday Morning

Jess finished getting ready. She was the last one of the family to be interviewed. Shannon had set up everything in The Shed next door. She hung pictures of the family around a chair. One corner didn’t look like a shed at all.

Jess got more and more nervous by the minute. She couldn’t believe she was actually going to spell everything. She grabbed her jacket, it was always cold in the shed. She should know all the times she had sneaked in there to do things that she wasn’t supposed to do in the house.

She walked into the shed. Shannon was checking the camera and microphone. Bette watched Jess walk into the shed from the kitchen window.

"You ready to get this thing over with." Jess said.

"Yeah are you?" Shannon asked making her final checks.

"As ready as I gonna get. Do you want me to sit here?" Jess asked pointing to the big comfy chair that was left in there when Jenny moved out.

"Yeah don’t be nervous its just me and you having a conversation." Shannon said clipping the microphone onto Jess’s shirt.

"One that we have never had before." Jess said.

"That’s true, but still its just me. It won’t be that bad." Shannon said sitting in a chair opposite Jess.

"I know let’s just do this before I change my mind." Jess said.

"Okay Here we go." Shannon said. Fixing the cameras. She had one as head on medium shot and one a close up of just her face.

"What is your full name?" Shannon asked.

    "Jessica Elizabeth Porter"

    "How old are you?"

    "16"

    "Where do you live?"

    "West Hollywood California"

    "Tell me about your family."

"My whole family or just the ones I live with?" Jess asked.

"Lets start with the ones you live with"

"I have two sisters one older one younger, twin brothers and two moms."

    1. Now, that is a family. To love as much as they all do. Charmed, the way that you write not only brings out the love but shows them dealing with what life throws at them. Some do a better job than others but all families have troubles. Bette raised one hell of a daughter in Jess. I love this story and hope that you will continue to write it.

    2. wonderful – send it to congress to have someone read it into the congressional record when they debate the ill conceived and hateful Marriage Amendment. You write beautifully.

    3. Just has been adorable to me since the day she was born, she still is. She has been so lucky to have both Bette and Tina as Moms.yet she is jesse.sweet, loveable, stubborn temper but she is happy with her family. thanks

    4. this was a wonderful talk. i hope this help to Jess to move on. I think then you will write for much much much more time because i like it so much this story

    5. if someone came in and read this chap they wouldnt miss a thing if they hadnt read the earlier chapters… this was by far your best work although i have enjoyed what youve done so far…

    6. Good job, I hope that Bette gets a chance see this interview. I think that it will help her see Jess’s point of view and this should help Jess resolve some of her issues.
