"That’s what I am talking about." Jess said.
"Sorry." Cat said.
"It’s okay baby. I just want to make a good impression tonight." Jess said.
Cat took her hand and kissed it as she drove.
"I know babe. Just relax. Everything will be okay." Cat said.
"All right." Jess said. The rest of ride was mostly silent. Cat pulled the car up in front of Tile.
"Jess. Cat." Tommy the valet said.
"Tommy. How’s it hanging?" Jess asked.
"Great if your Aunt will give us a raise." Tommy said.
"I thought you all got one last month." Jess said.
"We did. I couldn’t help but ask." Tommy said.
"I understand." Jess said. Cat took her hand and led her inside.
"Cat. Your parents are here and are at our best table." Deidre said.
"Thanks." Cat said.
"Oh Jess. Kate wants to talk you after dinner." Deidre said.
"Do you know what it’s about?" Jess asked.
"No she just said to tell you to come see her when Dinner was over." She said.
"Okay thanks." Jess said.
"Relax I am sure it’s nothing." Cat said.
"I wouldn’t be so lucky." Jess said. They walked over to where Cat’s parents were sitting.
"Mom, Dad, I would like you to meet the love of my life Jessica Kennard Porter. Jess. This are my parents Ambassador Alex Sparks and Karen Sparks." Cat said.
"It’s very nice to meet you Jessica" Alex said offering his hand.
"It’s very nice to meet you also Mr. Ambassador." Jess said.
"Please call me Alex." He said.
"Well I am glad to see Cat didn’t elaborate on you your beauty." Karen said.
"Thank you. Mrs. Sparks." Jess said.
"Karen. Mrs. Sparks is so formal." Karen said. Jess and Cat sat down.
"You played very well tonight." Alex said.
"She always does." Cat said.
"Not always. But thank you." Jess said.
"Jessica you always played well at Chasteen." Karen said.
"She’s got you there." Cat said.
"I guess so." Jess said.
"Can I get you both something to drink?" Trey said.

I’m sitting here trying to figure out who Kate is. So much has happened in this story it’s hard sometimes to remember details.

First of all just because someone ask you to marry then doesn’t mean that you are going to get married right away. I am sure that since Cat asked Jess to have dinner to meet her parents, Kate assumed that this waas something VERY special and simply followed her brother’s instructions as to when to give Jess this letter. If Cat intends to propose to Jess, I am sure that she has informed B&T. Charmed, I can not believe that you cut us off like that PLEASE post soon :o)
First off I cannot believe you stopped there, well yes I can.This family is such a mystery. Why do I get the feeling Cat is going to propose and everyone except Jess knows. Their not too young, and they’ve been through so much. Damn, enjoy it why you can cos you never know in life.
I know they love each other but I think they are too young to marry…what’s the rush? Did Jess’ dad really die? Or did he have to disappear for awhile…why is this note coming out now? We have questions…we need answers.
