Previously:
Jess headed for third. The cut off man threw the ball.
The sound of the ball hitting plastic hard hushed the crowd.
Jess laid on the ground half on top of third base.
"I can’t believe I just got hit. What next?" She thought. Other than a headache she was fine just shocked.
Shannon beat the coach to Jess.
"Jess are you okay?" She asked quickly.
"Yeah I’m fine." Jess said. Jess tried to get up but she got a dizzy.
"I think you better stay down." Shannon said.
"I’m fine help me up." Jess said. Shannon took her hand and pulled her up.
"Let’s get you to the locker room and get you checked out." The trainer said.
"I’m fine. I swear. Just a headache." Jess argued.
"Well let’s just check you out and if your fine then you can come back in." The trainer said. Jess was getting ready to argue back.
"Or you can sit the rest of the game out." The coach said.
"Fine." Jess said and allowed herself to be led of the field. Before the Inning was over she was back in the dug out ready to play. She took her time putting her equipment on.
After the third out Jess and Shannon walked back onto the field together. The crowd stood and started cheering.
"They sure do love you." Shannon said. She searched for Bette in the crowd. Their eyes met Jess winked at her. This was their symbol for I’m okay.
"Let’s get this done. I have to meet the parents tonight." Jess said.
"Oh really. 3 up 3 down." Shannon said.
"Just two more times." Jess said and headed behind the plate.
After two quick innings The game was over and Jess was caught by the TV cameras.
Bette and Tina were waiting outside by the bus.
"Are you sure you’re okay?" Bette asked.
"I’m fine just a little headache. Nothing a hot shower and a night with Cat won’t fix." Jess said.
"TMI." Bette said.
"I am glad you’re okay. Honey." Tina said kissing her and hugging her.
"I’ll see you guys later I have to go get ready to meet Cat’s parents." Jess said heading for the bus.

I’m sitting here trying to figure out who Kate is. So much has happened in this story it’s hard sometimes to remember details.

First of all just because someone ask you to marry then doesn’t mean that you are going to get married right away. I am sure that since Cat asked Jess to have dinner to meet her parents, Kate assumed that this waas something VERY special and simply followed her brother’s instructions as to when to give Jess this letter. If Cat intends to propose to Jess, I am sure that she has informed B&T. Charmed, I can not believe that you cut us off like that PLEASE post soon :o)
First off I cannot believe you stopped there, well yes I can.This family is such a mystery. Why do I get the feeling Cat is going to propose and everyone except Jess knows. Their not too young, and they’ve been through so much. Damn, enjoy it why you can cos you never know in life.
I know they love each other but I think they are too young to marry…what’s the rush? Did Jess’ dad really die? Or did he have to disappear for awhile…why is this note coming out now? We have questions…we need answers.
