Life Happens: The One With Tina’s Scary Story

“Killer on the loose!” Alice shrieked. “I love this stor….oh…sorry Tina…hehe.”
“May I? Anyway, a bulletin came on. A local mental patient, one of the most dangerous offenders in the area, had broken out of jail.”
“This is too scary.” Jenny interrupted now, before grasping onto Alice’s arm and pulling her close.
“Oof..Jenny, it’s bad enough you made me kiss you that time, now I’m in your lap..ok, ok, fine.” Alice continued to sit on the edge of Jenny’s chair.
“ANYWAY…” Tina got their attention. “The women were a bit scared, but really, they were in their car, safe and secure, and they were driving to a hotel miles away. But just then, Carol noticed the gas tank…It was nearing empty, and they were far from a gas station.”
“but they kept on driving…” Tina paused in her story, looking up at the sky. It was already growing fully dark. Shane rose quietly to light lanterns, and Tina continued.
“Carol figured that they could get to where they needed to go on a nearly empty tank, but Angela wanted them to stop in the nearest town as soon as possible. That way, they could walk to a gas station in a populated area. Carol refused. And when they hit a few scattered houses, she kept driving. She kept driving, looking desperately for a gas station, and she drove them right out to the empty highway again. Angela tried to convince her to turn back, at least knock on someone’s door for help, but Carol was stubborn.”
“This sounds like a great relationship they’re starting.” Bette mumbled. “Carol sounds like a control freak.”
“Well…maybe…maybe she just wanted to make sure that everything would be ok—that she could handle it all on her own, for the both of them.” Tina and Bette stared at one another, while the rest of the group began to fidget.
“So they drove a little while longer, and of course, the car started to die. They were out of gas, and as they rolled to a stop, they realized that they were too far to walk back. Their car battery still ran, and they sat and planned for a bit. Angela heard something on the radio…something about the whereabouts of the escaped patient, but she ignored it.

OK, so that move to London bit was out of left field and they might have to see if they can buy werewolf repellent if they go. And if we didn’t get much sex out of that, there were quite a few laughs, hard to say which is better in the long run. Loved Kit perturbed by a normal Jenny, which is of course stunning. Liked Tina’s story, too. But as attractive as a move to London might be, I really think Helena needs to face the music over here before she goes.
okay…so what’s up with the moving to london??? hmmm…can’t wait to see how that goes…anyways, i love the bonding the women had with each other even with Jenny’s crazy ass. I can’t wait for the new chapter! Thanks and PPS!
Loved loved loved tina’s story…see this is the tina i like…simple, no craziness, no fickle-ness…good, granola tina…so to london, it is? I say Helena has to get her life together before she takes a leap across the pond.
I am NOT a Tibetter but a LITTLE part of me wanted to see bette with tina in this chapter =O how crazy is that? I mean I LOVE B and H together but I like Tina in your fic :confused: hehe this chapter was great!!! PPS!
I too love the bonding of these core characters (thanks for nothing, IC), and sympathetic Tina as well. I’m guessing normal Jenny is a temporary aberration.
