    And then, like a slap to her snoozing brain.. it dawned on her.

     

    She was back at the lodge.

     

    Safe.

     

    Sound.

     

    Warm.

     

    Alive.

     

    After much drama and action and suspense for one night, they were rescued and brought back to the safety of her girlfriend’s family-owned lodge.

     

    It was an elaborate rescue mission whose details, at least for the two girls involved, remained vague at best.

     

    As far as Tina could recall, the whole thing happened during the wee hours of the morning. The exact time, she had no idea. What she did know was that as soon as the sky had let up and stopped hurling out ridiculous amounts of snow, three helicopters and a small army of snowmobiles descended on the small patch of forest near Sam’s Knob and swarmed the tiny maintenance cabin that served as their sanctuary from the storm. She and Bette weren’t doing anything more than sleeping, thank God, when the PGC’s security team dug the front of the cabin out from the mountain of ice that had surrounded it and unceremoniously barged right through its rickety doors. They stumbled onto the sight of two fully clothed girls who lay cuddling one another in deep slumber; and the two, as well as the brave men who went in to recover them, were both equally grateful that they weren’t found in a comprising and extremely awkward position. Needless to say, it would’ve been embarrassing for everyone involved had the two girls went down the sexual route that a cheeky Alice had predicted they’d be in when they were discovered.

     

    As quickly as they came, their rescuers wasted no time in whisking their sleeping forms into a helicopter and back to the waiting arms of their worried family and friends. There in the lodge, they were checked and prodded by doctors and nurses, but through all the madness and hoopla surrounding them, the two exhausted women remained blissfully unconscious. Sleep had descended on them, and it would not leave their weary bodies until they regained their lost strength. With only a few bruises and a bandaged ankle between them, they were let go by the resort’s private health team and sent back to the privacy of Bette’s presidential suite to recuperate. There, they slept in peace and comfort – undisturbed by everyone and anyone with a pulse.

    4. I am going repeat everybody’s sentiment of how sad it is that this lovely story is coming to an end, but hope that u will continue entertaining us with other stories:))

    6. Your writing ability is beyond words. The dialog is incredible with all the ins and outs of each character. There is humor, drama, friendship, plenty of sex and best of all LOVE. The F4 group including Dana and Tina come to life with your skilled story telling. I will miss this story and hope down the road that you will continue to engage your readers with more of your wit, charm, and fun loving characters and stories.
