    CHAPTER TWENTY FOUR, Part Four: Sexual Healing

     

     

    Previously..

     

    Bette fondly stroked the diamond-encrusted heart. “Eternity.” She whispered, remembering a memory of years past. “When I b-bought this in Hawaii, I r-remember only half-listening to the sales guy’s explanation about t-the necklace. The only thing I c-can remember was that he said t-that if you give it to your love, then you are d-destined to a long and happy life with t-that person. You are bound to each other f-for all of eternity, hence, the n-name.” She shared with a lopsided smile. She sighed and met Tina’s eyes. “And f-for us to find each other amidst all of t-this craziness, I think w-we really m-must be bound to each other..”

     

    “Yeah, we are.” Tina smiled, leaning in to place the softest kiss on Bette’s soft lips. “We really are.”

     

    They looked at each other and grinned. And then, quite unexpectedly, they began to laugh. They laughed until their eyes began to blur and flood with tears of joy, relief and love. They were stuck in a dingy cabin. They were in the middle of a snowstorm. But they couldn’t be happier. They were with each other. They had one another. And so they laughed.

     

    They laughed until they both collapsed on the rug. And when they were running out of air, they kept their smiles even as their laughter dwindled down. Silence filled the room afterwards, but their happiness remained. They held each other close, they shared each other’s warmth.

     

    And when they thought it was all said and done, a series of whispered words left a pair of pink lips.

     

    “I guess its really you and me forever, hm?”

     

    “Would you have it any other way?” Tina looked at Bette.

     

    The brunette didn’t answer back. She didn’t have to. The kiss she gave the blonde said everything.

    Present.

     

    Disoriented.

     

    That’s what she was when she first stirred. She kept her eyes closed, her lids firmly shut – not for anything else but to succumb to the strong lingering feelings of sleepiness that seemed to envelop her mind like a thick fog. And with her hazel orbs unwilling to cooperate, she depended on her other senses to determine the things that she cannot see; to answer the questions that her sense of sight could answer with just one gaze.

    6. Your writing ability is beyond words. The dialog is incredible with all the ins and outs of each character. There is humor, drama, friendship, plenty of sex and best of all LOVE. The F4 group including Dana and Tina come to life with your skilled story telling. I will miss this story and hope down the road that you will continue to engage your readers with more of your wit, charm, and fun loving characters and stories.
